I have been getting many inquiries as to what stores or areas are being affected by the coupon policy change in Kroger Houston (posted about
here). Since I will be away from my computer for several hours today and will not be able to respond to these inquiries right away, I have decided to post the list here I received this morning. I am very upset! i dont think that i will be shopping here much anymore. i dont understand why they r going the opposite direction and deterring couponers
Stephanie I think we are going to have to start a city wide car pool to another town for doubles and triples.

Well, I won't be going out of my way anymore to shop at Krogers. Randalls is much more convenient and will atleast do some doubling and tripling. Am very disappointed in Kroger. I did use a lot of coupons at Krogers but also spent a lot of money there on non-coupon items. It was okay store, but to H.E.B. I go for meat, to Target for their store coupons, Walmart and Randalls for other grocery items. With the loss of shoppers and maybe they'll rethink what they've done. Their coupon policy made them very competitive but they now leveled the playing field and lost their advantage. Meijer is a great grocery store in the mid-west - I really wish it would come to Houston!
