Minimal Ad Matchups this week

I won't be doing all the ad matchups tonight and I am not sure how many I will get to tomorrow being that it is Halloween.
I have spent the last several days out of town in a hospital ICU for my dad.  He is doing better now (but still in ICU) so I just got home this evening.  I will try my best to do some matchups but I can tell you now I am exhausted from my trip and the events of these past days and I know tomorrow is a huge day.  Not only is tomorrow Halloween, but several coupons are expiring!!!

Notes:
HEB has a new P&G catalina going.  Spend $30 on P&G products and get $10 catalina on your next shopping order of $30 to use after 11/13.
The items I would focus on tomorrow for sure are the Herbal Essence and the Pantene.  We have bogo coupons for both that expire tomorrow.  Combine those with the $1 blinkies for Herbal Essence or $1 coupons we got this weekend for Pantene for a GREAT deal!  Also, tomorrow HEB will have a yellow coupon (most likely a B) for buy Pantene Shampoo  and conditioner, get a free styler.
Sounds like a money maker in the making.  Throw in the rebate here and really make a HUGE money maker!!!

Randalls - Hot Soda Sale* and other promotions

If you are fortunate enough to have the personalized price on Coke, Pepsi and 7up on your J4U account, then this week you can score an AMAZING deal on soda!

This week the 12 packs are on sale for buy 2 get 2 free.  Regular price is $5.99 but if you have personalized pricing, you can get them as low as $2.79 each.  With that, you can do the following:

Buy 8 participating 12 packs of soda @$2.79 each = $22.32
Get 4 free with b2g2 sale -$11.16
=$11.16 for all 8 or $1.40 each
If you have manufacturer coupons to combine with this deal, you can really score a deal

These are gonna come in handy for my mom's party and will save her some money!

*There is also a $0.50 Fanta 12 pack coupon you can load but we don't drink Fanta so I was willing to pay the extra $0.50

While walking the store trying to get my total up to $30 (I have a $3 off $30 j4u) I noticed the Martha White is in fact free if you printed that $0.50 coupon I posted on facebook. (zip 97401)

Other things I noticed but did not take pictures of

Knorr Homestyle stock is $3.49
You should have a $1 off J4U store coupon (or if you found the Fall Randalls Saving books, this coupon is in there)
Combine with the $2 coupons that Randalls had next to meat a few weeks back
Comes to just $0.49 after coupons

Check your J4U account for the freebie on La Victoria tortillas.
It will be in the coupon center under International Cuisine if you have it
This did not come off as it should have but I had no problems showing the store I had it loaded so they  honored the FREE :D (just make sure you watch for this one since it must be coded incorrectly)

Next, I noticed I had 2 Lipton tea coupons on my J4U account
They stated:
$1 off and
Save $0.50 off 1
They had a small box of tea bags for $1.29 so those were free (no overage, coupons adjusted down- the $1 was a store coupon and the .50 was a manuf)

Next thing I noticed that I thought was a good deal with the holidays coming up.
There is an in ad coupon for Hefty foam plates @ $1.49 each limit 2
I also had a loadable (or again a coupon in the Fall Savings book) for $1/2
On top of that I had a 10% off any paper or plastic paperware
I bought 2 and this is how my transaction panned out:
2 @ $2.49 each (shelf price) = $4.98
-10% savings on 1 = -$0.25
-personalized pricing $1 x 2 = -$2
- loadable for $1/2 = - $1
=$1.73 for both or $0.87 each for 50 foam plates per pack
*edit to add: Qrazy just reminded me there is a $1/2 coupon in the 9/30 Smart Source so you can get them as low as .37 each!!! Guess I will be going back

Now for the advertised deals from the weekly insert

Pork Loin Rib Half Sliced $1.29/lb

Fresh Express Spinach or Garden Plus Salads $1
*I have 20% off produce so just $0.80
You also might want to check your misc coupon stack as there are various blinkies and booklet coupons you might have for these salads

Lucerne 1/2 gal milk, limit 3 $1.49 each after .50 J4U  loadable

Dr Pepper 2 liters, limit 3 $.69 each after .30 J4U loadable

Mission Tortilla Chips, 13 oz, limit ?, $0.99 after J4U loadable

with the .55 coupon from 7/15 Smart Source you can get 2 for
$1.14 or $0.57 each

Eggland's Best 1 dozen eggs are $1.99 with in ad coupon
-$0.35 insert from 9/30 Smart Source insert
$0.94 for 1st with triple coupon

$5 Friday deal

*my fav is back

HEB - Some Unadvertised deals I found

There is a new $2 off B coupon that includes Robitussin.  Combine this with the $3 insert from 9/30 Red Plum and you can get cough syrup for as low as $0.46.  Getting that time of year!

Nature Made has a new B coupon for buy $10 get $5 off.  Combine with the $2 coupon from the 10-14 Smart Source insert.  Time to stock up on my doctor ordered fish oil!
ETA: I just came back and scored my Fish Oil for very very cheap :D

Rimmel has brought back the $1.50 B coupon.  Combine with the $1 coupon from 8/26 Red Plum insert.  You can get eye pencils for as low as $0.09 or take $2.50 off any Rimmel item.

I spotted this bogo M coupon on the Pioneer pancake mix.  Combine this with the $0.50 sale price and each will just cost you $0.25 :D

I don't know anything about this product but spotted an M yellow coupon making it just $1.49 after.  Just thought it worth mentioning due to the pricing.

I also don't know anything about this product but the $1 M coupon makes it's pricing decent.

This coupon caught my eye and I think with piggybacking, you can score a really good deal.  My thumb is in the way but underneath this coupon is a B.  Buy 2 Degree deodorant and get 1 Caress Body Wash free.  Well, if you just so happen to have 2 of the Buy Degree mens product get free Clear Mens scalp therapy from 9-30 RP (expires 10-28), you could do the following:

Buy 2 Degree mens deodorant $2.44 each = $4.88
Get 2 Clear Mens scalp therapy free with manufacturer coupon
Get 1 Caress Body wash free with B yellow coupon (YQ)
So $4.88 for the 5 items or $0.98 an item which is NOT bad! (have you SEEN the price of that Clear!!!)
*if you have coupons for the Degree deodorant you might be able to combine those too for extra savings!

And now, if you have STUCK with me till the end, I have saved the best for last two for last!

One of my coupon friends went into her store and noticed that there are cheaper Colgate toothbrushes to buy with the advertised yellow coupon.  The cheap ones are just $0.96 - .89 YQ = $0.07 a toothbrush!  I know there are many charities this time of year putting together shoe boxes for less fortunate kids and toothbrushes are always welcome!  This is a GREAT deal.

And FINALLY the MONEY MAKER DEAL
My coupon bud snapped a picture of Totino's party pizza on sale for $1 each.  If you can find these specially marked boxes, you can get a $5 rebate wyb 4.  Even better, there is a M yellow coupon for buy 4 Totinos get a free box of Yosicle or Popsicle!!!  SCORE!
Your transaction would look like this:
4 Totinos $1 each = $4
1 Yosicle or Popsicle $3.58 - YQ
=$4 OOP get $5 back
Even better, you enter the codes online so NO stamp required!  You can opt for cash or paypal (limit 1 per household)

Thanks Mercy and Jen for your contributions

Mulch Zombies for up to $30 in coupons - Home Depot

Home Depot has a new facebook game that can earn you a $5, $10 and $15 Lawn and Garden Center coupon.  First go here, then before you start playing you want to click the button toward the top of the screen that says earn FASTER or twice as fast (trust me if you don't do this first, it takes a lot longer to get to the final coupon)

Then, you just drive your truck eating Zombies.  When you get to the $5 level, your computer will have a pop up showing you earned the coupon, just click continue playing and do this until you have also earned the $10 and $15 mark.  Then you can go to your stat button to claim your coupons and you will get them via email.

The coupons will be for $5 off a $5.01 purchase, $10 off a $10.01 purchase and $15 off a $15.01 purchase in the Lawn and Garden Center.  Coupons are one per customer so you will have to use them on different visits but they do not expire until Dec 31st, so plenty of time.

*Might I suggest for those of you with kiddos, have them play the game for you.  It gets extremely boring and takes about 30 minutes to get all 3 coupons.  Since it is one per facebook account, one girl was playing mine while the second one played on my husband's account :D

Reader Spotlight - Heb Unadvertised Veggie deal

My coupon bud Greenie found this deal today at her HEB.  Margaret Holmes veggie coupon for .75 off making the buttered corn just .23.
She also informed me her mom in Austin was able to find some Green beans in this brand that were under .75 so the store adjusted the coupon down for her to score them for FREE!  SWEET!  This coupon expires 10-30 so plenty of time to find some canned veggies to stock up your pantries.

Thanks Allisyn for the pic and deal.

Readers, I am making a trip to HEB tomorrow to get the girls the HEB Buddy blankets with all their Buddy game points and hopefully they will let me walk around a little to look for other deals.

Jingit - Have you seen these Ads yet?

This is a screen shot of my current balance on Jingit.(go here and here to read how it works)  If you have an android or smartphone and have not signed up, you might want to now.  While I have not gotten videos on my phone in awhile, there are several videos currently available on my laptop that I have been able to watch daily(sometimes more than once a day) and earn each time.  Just let the video play, answer a few questions and earn REAL cash!  How easy is that?  I am loving this app and plan to actually move some of this balance over to my debit card to use on the $5 when you buy 5 sale at Kroger.(advertised match ups found here)

These are the current ads I have been watching for cash daily:

Elmer's Glue ad - .12 earnings
Jello - .25 earnings
Smores - .20 earnings
Jello Mix ins - .20 earnings(I think?)
Snickers - .25 earnings

If you are like me, you check your email before leaving the house.  These ads take less than 2 minutes to earn you about $1 and then when you get home, check them again :D

I LOVE free money
Those that have signed up, what is your balance up to?

*For you Kroger shoppers, stay tuned later today for the unadvertised $5 when you buy 5 matchups!

Heb Ad - Oct 17th - 23rd

Prices are from my store ad.

Please remember Heb has regional ads and they can vary greatly in meat and produce prices, so please go online and view your local zip code to confirm you have the same prices as my ad. I have noticed a variance in stores just 3 miles apart.
Also note, HEB accepts coupons at face value. You can review their coupon policy here.
Something to note on my matchups.  I will post the in store coupon marked items in the ad in a followup post once I find out which are M's and which are B's.  B store coupons can be combined with paper coupons for added savings, M store coupons cannot.

Food Town Ad - Oct 17th - 23rd

Food Town has about 26 locations in and around the Houston area.  Find out if you are close to one here.

If you are, you can either shop in store, or take your ad to Walmart to price match.
You can get on their home mailer list by stopping in at your store and asking at the service desk to be added to the mailing list.  Then, you should get a 2 page homemailer every week.  In this mailer is a coupon good for a deal of the week that can be combined with manufacturer coupons for added savings.

Food Town does NOT double or triple coupons and it is store policy to adjust the coupon down to the value of the item.  Most locations have a posted policy that states a limit of 6 like coupons.

Kroger Ad - Oct 17th - 23rd - WOW!!!!!!

Wow! I have to admit Kroger finally has a decent sale in the ad to make me do a matchup post this week!
I will probably even step food in the doors for this sale!

I was surprised my postal worker actually delivered my ads in the mail today instead of tomorrow and I have to say I am actually super excited about this sale Kroger has starting tomorrow.
They have a mix and match deal that will net you a $5 catalina on each 5 participating items you purchase in a single transaction.  Keep in mind you can mix and match, so you don't have to buy just 5 of one item to get this deal, just as long as you purchase in groups of 5 participating items.  (If you are purchasing in a transaction with non participating items I might suggest you use a hand cart inside your regular shopping cart or reusable bags to keep your count accurate)

Ok, so basically earning a $5 on 5 items is similar to saying you are getting $1 off each item (just AFTER you pay not before!)  And I have been hearing, as with most Kroger cats, this one rolls so after your initial purchase you can pay with the cat and stock up!

Here are the matchups I think are good deals from the ad I received in mail today:
