Free 8x10 Collage for Walgreens Facebook Fans

Today and tomorrow only, you can snag a free 8x10 collage print at Walgreens.  I LOVE these as they make wonderful gifts in lieu of purchasing a greeting card or just as a nice surprise to the grandparents. (what grandmother says she has TOO many pics of your kids, lol)
Just log into your facebook account and like Walgreens.  You should see a free 8 x 10 tab.
Then log into Walgreens photo and create your collage print, using the code to get it free.  If you select pick up in store, you will pay NOTHING in shipping too!  Limit 1 free print per customer account.  You have through tomorrow to create your collage print.  If you don't think you will be able to make it to the store to pick up by then, I suggest you choose "pay" online.  You will have to enter credit card info, but you will not be charged by using the code.  Then, you can pick up the print at your leisure.

Thanks HookedonBargains for the heads up.

Great coupon for Tic Tacs!

This is a HOT coupon and might not last the full day.  This is RedPlum's daily dash and will only be available today until it reaches the cap!  This coupon should net a free Single pack with a sale.  Make sure to print it while you can.
Apparantly these are already gone :(

You might also want to head to coupons, redplum, smartsource, boxtopsforeducation, pillsbury, eatbetteramerica, and betty crocker.  Today is the last day of the month and many of these sites will be resetting after midnight.  If there is a coupon you like, you need to print it today, just in case.

Deal on Party Supplies

I have to say, when I saw this discount "costume" site pop up on all the blogs, I was not too excited about it.  I have my kiddos costumes already, so I am not really in the market.

BUT my mind was changed.  They seem to heavily advertise their costumes (why wouldn't they, Halloween is around the corner).  Well, they also sell party supplies!  I am always looking for deals on party supplies.  They are rarely cheap, and even if you go to the party stores, the clearance section is a small hodge podge that you can NEVER get to actually look decent when you have little divas (ok, so I was a tomboy and don't care if my socks match much less party supplies WHY oh WHY does my 6 year old care so much *insert rolling eyes here)

Anyway, If you go here and scroll down.  Click on clearance party supplies and sort by name.  When you do this, it will show all the same theme items together so you can get all your party supplies for half the cost.  I see so many themes that still have TONS of stuff left to make a cheap party theme!  (Jonas bros,  "old" dinosaur theme, my first birthday, hanna montana, party cats, pink poodles, Planet 51 etc)  Now to get my 6 year old to decide on her next theme NOW!!!! Wish me luck!  Shipping seems to be $4.99 for most orders.  If you spend over $40 (you can use free40 code for free shipping)  Heck, you might want to check out the costumes too and you still have TONS of time to get those sent your way!

Thanks Mary @ HookedonBargains for the heads up on the party supplies, you have saved me a ton!

Hot FREEBIES/MONEY MAKERS at Safeway stores (Randalls, Tom Thumb)

I LOVE Randall's the day the ad breaks!  It is so much fun walking the aisles to see what they are going to pay me to buy, lol.

With coupons, my loadables lists and my ad in hand, I had a ball today picking up some goodies.  First, I hit the card aisle because occassionally they have in store coupons that make for great deals.  I didn't find any coupons, but I did find this banner advertising a $5 oynso catalina for purchasing 3 cards (excludes .99 card in fine print).  I dug through all the cards and found some halloween cards for $1.49 YAY!

Next, on to the grocery stuff.  My first course of action everytime I step foot into Randalls is to hit the clearance rack!  I always head there to see what goodies might be hiding.  With loadables and paper coupons, this can be a gold mine.  Today I only found one item that fit into my plan, the cake mix.  Here is what I did :
1 Nature Valley granola bar $2.49 - .70 in ad coupon - 2 .50 cellfire - .50 shortcuts - .50 IP = -.71
1 Nature Valley thins $2.49 - 2 .50 cellfire - .50 shortcuts - .50 IP = -.01
1 Juicy Juice $1.99 - $1.10 ecoupon(I think from randalls.com) = .89
3 Hallmark cards $1.49 each = $4.47
1 Betty Crocker frosting $1.50 - .50 cellfire for it and cake - .75 insert 8-8 GM = .25
1 Betty Crocker cake mix $.99 - .10 in ad coupon - .50 50% sticker = .39 (I was expecting more loadables)

There is a buy 4 save $4 promo on the front page of the ad.  It includes the Progresso soup, BC potatoes, Hamburger Helper and BC brownie mixes. I did the soup and potatoes because it was the best combo for my loadables

2 Progresso soup $1.99 each - $1 each for promo - 2 .50 cellfire - .50 shortcuts - .50/2 insert 8-8GM = -.52
2 BC potatoes $1.69 each - $1 each for promo - 2 .50 cellfire - 2 .50 shortcuts - .50/2 IP = -$1.62

2 Precious* mozzarella cheese stringers $4.99 each - $2.50 each for in ad coupon - $1/2 booklet coupon = $3.98

Tax : .27
I used a $5 from the SB deal to pay
Cost oop:  $2.39 and earned a $5 oynso for the Hallmark cards.
I will also mail in the $5 for the Precious cheese for a profit of ~ $2 after cost of stamp!  This was a peelie on the package.

And now for the giveaway!  I have spare rebate forms (only need 1 for each 2 purchased) Limit on rebate is 5 PER HOUSEHOLD!!!!  One entry per reader.  You have to tell me a funny story for this giveaway.  Make me laugh.  I don't know how many winners I will pick, but I will close the giveaway no later than Friday to give you time to purchase the cheeses needed for the rebate.

GO!

*I included the booklet in the picture I found near frozen pizza.  Inside is a coupon for Precious cheese and I used that to make the Precious cheese a money maker AFTER rebate, YAY!

Super Walgreens Clearance Find - Bigger Money Maker

Must have been my day to find the good clearance.
I went to Walgreens to get the free Pantene Beautiful Lengths shampoo and conditioner for free and while looking for a filler so I could use my register reward, I lucked into this find. Senokot 100 count tablets clearanced for $6.74! So now the small money maker with the $10 rebate just turned into a HUGE money maker for me.

(Pantene deal 2 Beautiful Lengths $6 (when they ring up b1 get 50% off second one)
-2 $2 P&G insert from 8-29 (these expire in 2 days!!!!!)
$2 oop and get back $2 in Register rewards.)

Great Clearance finds at Safeway (Randalls)

Stopped into Randalls today to pick up bread and shaving gel and I lucked into some nice clearance finds.
I also did the Scrubbing bubbles deal one last time since it is the last day for that deal, but no point in repeating that find. Here is everything else I was able to score:
2 Lucky Charms $1.99 - $1.50 for 50% tag(it said 2.99 so cashier entered that price) - $1/2 IP = -.02
1 BC cookie mix $2.29 - $1.15 for 50% tag - 2 .40 cellfire - .40 shortcuts - .50 peelie = -$1.06
2 Edge shave gels with free razor attached $2.49 - bogo loadable - bogo IP = FREE
1 Natures own bread $2 - .75 loadable - .75 IP = .50
2 Green Giant boxed veggies $1.49 - .75 for 50% sticker - $1/2 booklet = .49 (was expecting loadables)
2 Green Giant steamers $2.50 each - $1.25 for 50% sticker - 2 .50 cellfire - .50 shortcuts - $1/2 booklet = FREE

And finally, the Healthy Choice meals.  There is a sale that if you purchase at least 5 in 1 transaction, you get $1 off each one.  Since they scan full price first, the 50% sticker takes off from the higher price first.

18 HC meals rang up $2.29 each - $1.15 for 50% sticker - $1 for buy at least 5 promo - $1/3 blinkies = -$3.48.

Coupons you might want to print!

It is getting close to the end of the month, so you might want to start deciding what coupons to print.  Also, there are several random coupons that right now make for FREE stuff (don't we all love that)

Here are my suggestions:
.35 Hershey singles (I think these are currently on sale at Randalls, making them free with triples)

$1 Clorox wipes - Great deal for Walgreens this week.  If you buy 2 with 2 coupons, they will be .50 each after register reward

$1 Tilex coupon here or here - again Great for Walgreens, If you buy 2 with 2 coupons, they will be .50 each after register reward

.50 Luna bar (free at Kroger this week)

Coupons.com
.50 Old El Paso (use zip 90210) Seasoning free, or wait for sale on beans or shells.
$3 Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush starter kit (load the Randalls.com one too for free item)
$1 Joint Juice (will make singles free at Randalls with sale)
.75 Natures Own bread (currently two loadables on Randalls.com as well!)
Bogo Edge Shave gel (also load to Randalls.com for 2 free)

Redplum
$2 Playtex tampons (makes the18 count .99 at Kroger sale this week)
$5/25 Build a Bear (good deal if you are going anyway)
$1 Slim Fast product (bars should be free at Randalls this week)

ETA:
.50 Starkist pouch product (thanks Hip2Save)

More to come as I get together my list

Small MoneyMaker at Walgreens after rebate

I love getting stuff at Walgreens and CVS for rebates.  It is a GREAT way to "roll" the register rewards and extra bucks back into cash!!!!  Who wouldn't love that?  It is rumored that right now Walgreens has the 30 count 100 mg Colace stool softener for $12.99.  There is a $4 coupon in the October Walgreens booklet bringing your cost down to $8.99.  Then, just go here and sign up for them to send you a $10 rebate!  That will more than pay for the stamp.
Rebate will require a UPC and a receipt.  I have been successful in skimming the first layer off boxes for rebates like this and thus still being able to donate items such as these without them looking tampered with or beaten up.

Thanks Hip2Save for the headsup!

How I do Love my Buca di Beppo

If you have never been, you NEED to go.  I learned of Buca from a friend and since they are a Discover Card cash back partner, I get gift cards there as often as I can.  Yummy Italian food served family style and if you get on their mailing list, they send regular coupons for $10/20 purchase, free desserts etc.  Well, right now Citydeals has an awesome deal.   They are currently selling a $20 gift card for only $12 as an introductory offer. (limit 1 per household).   Well, that by itself is a good deal, but combine it with a $10/20 coupon and you can get a $30 meal for only $12 or, if you are light eaters, you can go print 2 $10/20 and go 2 different times and buy 2 $20 meals for a cost of only $12!  YUMMY!  My husband's birthday is coming up so guess where we will be heading.
Use the code wallflowers for free shipping.

Thank you Maya for the heads up on this awesome deal!  My husband sure thanks you.

I left this bag out in the car last night and forgot about it, but one more money maker deal for you at Randalls. (also sorry for the glare on the pic but I have my table covered in coupons and print outs to plan for the week, lol.

I purchased 3 Campbell's Chicken with Rice, 2 Cream of Chicken with herbs and 1 Cream of Mushroom with roasted garlic.
This combination triggered all 4 loadables from shortcuts to come off. -
$1/3 Campbell's condensed Healthy kids soupons
$1/3 Campbell's Healthy request condensed
$1.50/3 Campbell's Great for cooking soups and
$1.50/3 Condensed soups

I also used 2 paper coupons for $1.50/3

The soups were on sale for $1 each so this is what the math looked like
$6 - $1 sc - $1 sc - $1.49 sc - $1.49 sc - 2 $1.50/3 Ips = -$1.98

New finds for cheap/free at Safeway (Randalls)

After spending several hours at the Children's Museum I was in serious need of mommy time away.  My husband was nice enough to handle the kids while mommy ventured out ALONE!  Before leaving, I of course logged into the Randalls website and loaded up a couple more coupons that were added.  Here is how I did:

1 Huggies wipes $2.79 - $2 ecoupon(says for larger, but it came off) - $1 homemailer = -.21
1 Campbells Select Harvest $1 - $1 ip = FREE
1 Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Starter Kit $5.99 - $3 ecoupon - $3 IP = -.01
1 Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush flushable refills $4.49 - $4.49 ecoupon* = FREE
4 Ore Ida tator tots/fries $1.99 with in ad coupon - $3/2 from new booklet found in dairy case - $1 ecoupon(no longer available) = $1 for all 4 bags!

*There is supposed to be a $1 coupon in this weekends paper but I didn't have mine yet.  The ecoupon is actually a bogo, but it came off when purchasing just the required purchase item.

Also, if you purchase the two Scrubbing Bubbles items above, you will get a $2 oynso catalina for an even bigger money maker!

Of course I also did the SB deals and Pillsbury, but you already know those deals.

Playtex $2 coupon reset, Deal at Kroger.

Ok, I know one of the first tricks of couponing is to not be brand loyal, but when it comes to feminine hygeine I absolutely agree you need to get what works for you.  If you are a Playtex kind of gal, then this is a good time to stock up!  Right now Kroger has the 18 count(all varieties) on sale for $2.99.  Print this $2 coupon and it is only .99!

HOT printable for OLD EL PASO!!!!!!!

I LOVE me some Tex-Mex!  Hurry and go here to print this HOT Old El Paso coupon.  (I used zip 90210 to get the .50 value)
With this coupon you can ALWAYS get free seasoning packets.  During sales, you can get free taco shells and refried beans.  If you have multiple computers to print from, you can get a coupon for money off your next beef or chicken purchase (see MEAT coupons DO exist)

Currently Kroger and Randalls have a promotion going (through Oct 3rd)  Purchase 3OEP taco shells, dinner kits, seasoning, refried beans or Heat & Serve side dishes, get $1 off your next beef or chicken purchase.  Purchase 6OEP taco shells, dinner kits, seasoning, refried beans or Heat & Serve side dishes, get $3 off your next beef or chicken purchase.
If you have two computers, you can print 4 of these coupons then look for peelies on the dinner kits for free refried beans or seasoning packets wyb 2 other products.  Woo hoo!
Hurry, these Old El Paso coupons don't last long!
Thanks STLmommy

Free Night at the Theater 2010 - NOW LIVE HURRY!!!!

It is back! Free Night at the Theater is brought to us by the Theatre Communications Group and it is up to each theater if they choose to participate. Last year I was able to score two free tickets to Click Clack Moo for my husband to take our oldest on a daddy daughter date. She LOVED it! I have to say I am a bit disappointed as so far this year it appears there are no participating kids productions in Houston. Might want to check the listings as it appears they added some and I am now super excited!

BUT, for those wanting a night out for the adults, you will want to mark your calendar. Go here and select your participating location to see production listings. Then, you will want to read the time that tickets open for that production and go back and score your coupons during that time. Last year tickets went fast (within 5 minutes) so you will definitely want to mark your calendar and remind yourself.  For those in Houston, tickets start opening up on Sept 25th at 10am.

Thank you Freckletown for the heads up reminder (it seems they are doing this a week earlier than last year)

Kroger Giveaway!! You readers WOW me!!!!!

This is just a post to my readers so far!!! WOW!!!! I am reading your comments on my giveaway and I just wish I had this info BEFORE my session in front of the wonderful folks at Kroger.  You guys have some amazing insight and I want to thank you for sharing this.  Rest assured, I will be sharing ALL these comments with Kroger(I have already sent them my link to the giveaway so they can start researching!) but I will make sure to highlight some GREAT points you guys are making!
I did want to answer the issue about the scanning your own coupons.  I am not sure the reason 100% on this, but let me speculate on this for a moment.  When Kroger first came out with the Uscan, the customers DID scan their own coupons.  I remember it well.  I am assuming this feature was changed due to fraud (a few bad apples spoil the bunch!).  I will confirm with Kroger on this, but that is my guess as to why this went away.

Keep those comments coming, I am really enjoying reading them and I am sure Kroger would love the input.  Stay tuned for my followup giveaway for a $20 Kroger card and some news I have from the folks at Kroger.

Wanna be chef, I agree on the bags.  I use my own and sometimes it is a hassle to wait for them to approve.  One thing I have started to do is just put all my stuff loose on the scale and bag it while my cats and receipt are printing.

Lily G - BRILLIANT idea!!!! I love it!  A lane of like minded savings gurus that don't have to face the stern looks of those that love to WASTE money!

Rutgers - I totally agree on the Scan Right Guarantee.  I actually got into an argument with an associate that had never heard of it despite the HUGE sign right above customer service advertising it!  And in this new store I did ask about ingredient info on their cafe to go, so I will be sure to bring up the tortilla issue!

Funtimes- count your coupons before giving them to the cashier.  Tell them the EXACT count you have and they tend to be more careful scanning.  If you have more than 10, give them to the cashier in smaller groups.  I do this and just tell them I hate that they stick together :)

Deb - now that I have a Smart Phone, I am totally with you on the APPs, I will bring that up!

Mary S - I am with you on the door closures!  I go to some stores after hours and I understand the need to limit entry points with limited personnel, but it is rather annoying that they do not provide carts at the only open spot in the store!  This will defiinitely be brought up as an issue.

Multiple commenters:
select items: speak with your managers in your store.  They will order Customer request items and some stores even have a special side cap section they stock these items.  Never hurts to ask your local store manager!

More defined coupon policy - I did ask about this and it does not look like this is in the plans in the near future.  I did mention bogo on bogo and items that are less than value of coupon!  Trust me, I will be pursuing this further.

Organized clearance section - I agree, although this is a store by store issue, I will highlight this to the Kroger folks!

Kroger/Shell Two Giveaways! $20 gift card to each store

I had the wonderful opportunity last night to meet fellow Houston bloggers on a guided tour of the newly remodeled Kroger store in the Heights. While there you can be assured my voice was heard (lol!). The folks at Kroger were so generous to take time out of their evening to talk with us and show us how the remodeled stores are adapting to the needs of the neighborhood (This particular store even has FREE Wifi!!!!)
More on the tour later, right now I want to remind you about the partnership with Shell and Kroger. Please see my blog post here about this partnership.  You can also visit the Kroger site to find out more about the fuel program.  Want to know how many fuel points you currently have but you can't seem to find your last receipt?  Go here
I actually had a chance to sample this program at lunch yesterday and I did get my .10 off per gallon of gas.  I don't have the full size Kroger card any longer so I used my alternate ID (phone number) and it worked perfectly.  YAY!  Kroger and Shell have made it super easy to use the rewards.  You can simply scan your card through the card machine at the pump, enter your full Kroger reward card number(bonus points if you actually know your whole card number without looking, lol) or use your alternate ID(typically your phone number)

Ok, now for the fun part!  Wanna win a $20 gift card for Shell gasoline???? (of course you do)  Well, this is what I want from you.  I want you to provide me with feedback.  I try to stay in regular contact with Kroger because I do truly LOVE having a Kroger (affectionately called "my precious" Kroger in my best Gollum voice!  especially to my friend in Austin who does not have a Kroger :(
I want you to leave me feedback about Kroger.  It can be good.  It can be bad.  It can be a suggestion of something you would like to see.  I gave Kroger many of my suggestions last night, and now I want to give them more.  They cannot improve unless they know what US shoppers want.
Oh, and I know you want SUPER doubles again, so those comments don't count (trust me we reminded them how much we LOVED that day!)

Rules:
Max of 3 entries per person but comments have to be genuine (I have full veto power mwhahaha)

Please leave a separate comment for each entry. (if you put them all in one comment, then that will be considered one entry, not 3)

Do not email me comments, those don't count and will be deleted.

If you are reading this in email or through a reader, click here to go to blog post to enter.

You have until Oct 7th to enter (my Blogoversary)

And stay tuned for my second giveaway for the $20 Gift card to Kroger

I was at Kroger tonight for a blogger event and I was hoping to have a much better start to a list for you.  The event ran a little late and I am tired, but I am going to post a few good deals I saw while there.

Huge Similac Baby Formula Recall!

All you mommies out there that feed your little one Similac powder, you might want to read this (liquid Similac is not affected in this recall):

Abbott is recalling these products following an internal quality review, which detected the remote possibility of the presence of a small common beetle in the product produced in one production area in a single manufacturing facility. The United States Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) has determined that while the formula containing these beetles poses no immediate health risk, there is a possibility that infants who consume formula containing the beetles or their larvae, could experience symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort and refusal to eat as a result of small insect parts irritating the GI tract. If these symptoms persist for more than a few days, a physician should be consulted.

The recall of these powder infant formulas includes:

Certain Similac powder product lines offered in plastic containers.
Certain Similac powder product lines offered in 8-ounce, 12.4-ounce and 12.9-ounce cans.
To immediately find out if the product in your possession is included in this recall, parents and caregivers should visit www.similac.com/recall/lookup, and type in their lot number to determine if their product is affected, or call (800) 986-8850.

Kraftmaid is back and with an awesome contest

Who wouldn't want to win a $50,000 makeover on their kitchen?  I know I could sure use one!  Actually, my husband and I have been saving our nickels and dimes for a kitchen remodel (new countertops, stovetop and possibly new cabinets).  The idea book from Kraftsmaid is certainly going to come in handy to give me visuals as to what I want!
To enter, just click here and follow the prompts to create your style.  I would love one of my readers to win this (if I don't, lol)

Awesome Soap.com deal on Groupon!

Have you heard of Soap.com?
They are the sister site of diapers.com and I got the opportunity to speak with the reps briefly at BlogHer this year.
Well, I am super excited about today's Groupon deal.(You will have to look under Brooklyn, Long Island, North Jersey or Queens for this deal)  For just $10, you can purchase a $20 voucher to be used at Soap.com.  Even better, they are including shipping into the deal!  Yay!  You have 3 months to use the groupon after purchased.
But wait, there is MORE.  Currently, there is a 20% off code for your first order.  (OFFCOUP)  So now you are looking at $24 worth of stuff for just $10!  Want a little extra boost?  Well, if you shop through your Upromise account, you can also get 8% back!*  WOW!

Now you might be thinking to yourself, why would someone that says she doesn't ever pay for deodorant, shampoo or other health and beauty products pay $10 for this voucher.  Well, there are just some things I can NEVER get free and I NEVER have a coupon for.  I will tell you what I am using my voucher for:
My husband has a fancy razor that requires special cleaner. This stuff gets expensive and NEVER has coupons. Soap.com has a 2 pack for $13.85. So $27.70 x .80(less the 20%) = $22.16 - $20 groupon = $2.16
So $12.16 cost for something that would otherwise cost me $22! SCORE!
And I should get about .17 back for Upromise*

*Cash back will most likely be based on price AFTER groupon certificate, so just your out of pocket above the $20 certificate.

What are you planning on buying?

Thanks Mercedes for the heads up.

Dinner on the Cheap!

I have to admit, I am not much of a cook and tonight's errands kept me out too late to go all out on dinner. Well, one go to meal that my oldest BEGS for (seriously, she would have this nightly if I allowed it) is pinwheels. I love them too, but not just for the taste. I love that I can get all the ingredients for so cheap and I love that they cover all 4 food groups.

Basically, you need crescent rolls, cream cheese, sliced deli meat and spinach.
I got the first 3 ingredients FREE and paid .05 for the spinach(see my Target run)

You take the crescent rolls and pinch together the seams, slather some cream cheese on, and top with spinach and meat. Roll up and pinch closed(you should have a little burrito). Cut into about 5-8 pinwheels(depending how thick you want them).
Cook according to instructions on crescent roll package.

I have to admit mine are messy, but my 6 year old doesn't seem to mind, lol.

Quick Target run

I really was not planning a trip to Target today so I didn't have my Huggies wipes coupons or my list. However, Mary over at Hooked On Bargains posted about the St Ives facial scrub trial sizes and I just LOVE this stuff. I normally don't bother with trial sizes because it is not worth the hassle with the beeps. Luckily, Target's register is recognizing and matching these coupons to the product and thus autoadjusting down to ring up price of .97, woo hoo!!!!!

I ended up getting 18 facial scrubs - 18 $1 coupons adjusted down = FREE
1 St Ives body wash $.99 - $1 coupon adjusted down = FREE
1 St Ives lotion $.97 - $1 coupon adjusted down = FREE
(I got the body wash and lotion just to see if the coupon worked on those too since it just says $1 off St Ives, no restrictions!)
*There is also a $1 off St Ives lotion coupon in the 9-9SS for those of you that have not yet found the Randalls booklets

While there, I noticed the bunch of spinach was $1.12 - $1 Target produce coupon(no longer available) = .12
-.05 for bringing my own bag
Cost oop : .07!

Crest for Me - Free Sample from Vocalpoint

I am actually really excited about this sample.  I had the opportunity to take some samples of this toothpaste from my BlogHer trip and my oldest daughter LOVES it!  This product is geared for 8 and up but it is definitely safe to use on 6 years olds.  When I inquired why the age 8 I was told this was about the time children want a minty (not bubblegummy) flavor and this is a milder mint flavor than regular toothpaste.  That is good because my oldest thinks my toothpaste is "too spicy" lol.
If you are a member of Vocalpoint, just click here to get your sample.
If you are not yet a member, go here to sign up (it is FREE!)

Cellfire reset

I apologize in advance for any typos(hard to type with a laptop and a lap cat in your lap at the same time)
Cellfire reset and I see lots of duplicate coupons!  Time to hit up Safeway to see what we can find.  Will post prices later for everyone.

Cheap Huggies Baby Wipes at Target

Lucky for me I am out of the diaper days, but I know quite a few expecting mommies and this is a GREAT stock up price for baby wipes. (I actually love using wipes instead of napkins for my kiddos at dinner).

You will want to go to the Target coupon site and filter by "baby" Print the .75/1 Huggies baby wipe coupon (2 per computer!)
Then go here and print the manufacturer coupon for $2.50/3 wipes.
The wipes are on sale right now for $1.99 so if you can get ahold of multiple computers, you can get 3 tubs for as cheap as $1.22 or .41 each

3 @ 1.99 = $5.97 - $2.50/3 = $3.47 - 2 or 3 .75 Target (would need at least 2 computers for 3*) = $1.22-1.97
.41 or .66 each!

If you are on the mailing list, you might want to check if you have homemailers too.  I know I still get sent baby coupons from them.

Thanks Mercedes
*I cannot print at work, so I am not sure if the Target coupon states only 1 per transaction?

Yay! Petsmart 15% off your purchase - Combine with rebate and Science Diet coupons!

I just knew there had to be one of these around the corner!  I am so glad I waited to purchase the by Nature food for the rebate I mentioned in this post.   Not only that, but the $8 Science Diet coupons I mentioned in this post will be an even BETTER deal NOW.
Potential scenario(assumes 15% comes off PRE manuf. coupons):
1 by Nature cat food (or dog) ~ $11.99 x .85 (what you would pay after coupon) = $10.19 x tax(8.25% for me) = $11.03 get back $11.99 (pays for my tax and stamp!!!)

Science Diet dog food $9.99 x .85 = $8.49 - $8 coupon = .49 x tax = $0.53!!!!!! WOW!

If the 15% comes off after manuf coupons(a little bird told me this might be how their registers are programmed)
Science Diet dog food $9.99 - $8 = $1.99 x .85 = $1.69 x tax = $1.83

If you don't have animals, this would be a great item for donating.  Or, I would be happy to trade for the $8 Science Diet coupon for my friend.  She is part of a rescue group that is always in need of animals deals.  Check out their site: AnimalRescueKingdom

I received this coupon in email and it will only allow 2 prints before the link is dead.  BUT it does offer an opportunity for me to forward to friends via email.  If you are interested in this coupon, feel free to leave you email on this google form (for privacy) and I will forward your way.

Dewberry Farms Groupon - Half Price admission

My eldest went to Dewberry Farms on a field trip and it was loads of fun. If you have been thinking about heading there, you might want to purchase todays Houston Groupon first.  Regular admission is $12 per person, but with today's groupon you can get two for that price.  There is a limit of 2 of this groupon per person and certificates expire November 23rd.  Valid only on weekends, Columbus Day and 11/22-23. Not valid 10/16-17.
Do keep in mind Dewberry Farms have a few activities that are not included in the admission price and will cost extra (the pumpkin patch, feeding the animals, etc); but they have a HUGE playground.  You might want to go here and here to get coupons for bogo snacks etc.

$10 Rebate for Johnson and Johnson Beauty Products

Last year this rebate was a money maker with a sweet deal at Walgreens!  I got so much Aveeno which I love using on the kids.  I am sure there will be upcoming sales in the next few weeks to go with this rebate.
Basically, you spend $30 and get $10 back on Johnson and Johnson beauty products, including Aveeno, Clean and Clear, Lubriderm and Purpose.(no trial sizes accepted).
We have until Halloween to find a deal and I will be sure to post what I find.  To print the form, go here and filter by personal care.  It was on page 7 for me.

Thanks Mary for the heads up!

Last day to load Cellfire for this cycle - New coupons set tomorrow

If you have not loaded all your cellfire coupons yet, today is the last day for this cycle.  Tomorrow they will have a fresh batch for us.  My suggestion is to load the remaining coupons to your Safeway (Randalls) card in hopes of duplicates!

While you are loading your cards, did you know Shortcuts added several Campbell's soup coupons that would go great with the current sale at Randalls.  And if you have not already done it, head to P&G esaver and Upromise* for those ecoupons as well.

*Upromise will not show up on your receipt but savings will show up in your Upromise account within a month of purchase date.

Attention Readers - Working on it!

Ok guys, I finally got a new fancy phone, YAY!
This one will actually load my blog and now I see what you mean, OMG my page took forever to load.
I will be working in the next week to speed that up for you.
So far I have now limited each page  to 3 posts instead of the 18 it had before (YIKES!).  Just letting you know so you might have to select see older posts more often if I post a lot in one day, but that should help the download speed.

ETA: I have now changed the blog button pic as well so hopefully that speeds this page up a bit more!

I will continue to work on other improvements to speed up the download and try to clean up the blog a little as time allows.

A few good finds at Safeway (Randalls)

My mom came into town yesterday and wanted to shop, and shop we did! These is just a sampling of the deals I want to highlight that you might not know about(and a few you will know).  Rather just repeat the same similar transactions, I am just going to highlight the goodies.

Bounty paper towels $1.99 - $1 ecoupon - $1 rebate booklet from last year (or .25 insert P&G) = FREE or .24

2 Rosarita refried beans .99 each
1 Mission tortillas .99 - .99 in store promo(buy 2 Rosarita beans get free) - 2 .55 cellfire - .55 MDA booklet coupon = .33 for all 3 items

Martha White muffins .89 - .35 IP = FREE

Finish automatic $4.99 - $3 tearpad(right in front of product) = $1.99

Del Monte fruit naturals blueberries $1 - .25 Sept Randalls produce booklet = .25

A different way to do the scrubbing bubbles deal to get trash bags for .99:
4 SB cleaners $10 - $2/2 blinkies, peelies or booklet qs = $6
1 Hefty trash bags $5.99 -$2 booklet coupon(found on HBA aisle) = $3.99
Cost : $9.99 (earns 2 $2 for the SB and 1 $5 for buy $15 get $5 deal) = .99*
*I did 1 transaction using the $5 to pay and did not get another, so it seems for some the $5 may no longer be rolling (I starting using the $2 and $3 from Pillsbury to pay for this and ringing the Pillsbury separately to pay with the $5 cats)

Pillsbury Sweet Moments $2.49 - 2 $1 cellfire - $1.50 IP = -$1.01 *
*These work for the Pillsbury catalina (buy 4 get $1, buy 5 get $2, buy 6 get $3) so a suggested scenario:
1 Sweet moments -$1.01
2 PB crescent rolls $2 - .50/2 IP = $1
1 PB sweet rolls $1 - .35/1 insert 9-12 GM = FREE
2 PB grands $2 - $1/2 IP = $1
Cost: .99 earn $3 oynso back

Quick question for my readers

I have a quick question for my regular readers.

Is my page loading faster? Just curious.

If you think so, you can thank Qrazy Guy.  I would like to personally thank him for helping me make my header picture smaller(in KB that is!)  As I said, I am NOT tech savvy and just don't have a huge amount of time to devote to that aspect.  So THANKS Qrazy Guy, I hope this speeds up the loading of my blog for you and all my readers :)

Red Plum, Hot NEW COUPONS

I was just checking the Red Plum website and I noticed some really good coupons to print right now:
$1 Starbucks ice cream pint(these go on special often at Randalls!)
$.50 for 2 lb + C&H sugar (after doubles, should be good deal on brown or powdered sugar)
$2 Playtex gentle glide (great for sale at Walgreens)
