Kroger March to Savings Run and matchups!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get some Kroger matchups posted.  I went yesterday to pick up a few items and I am a little disappointed in this sale.  There are some items that are decently priced, but I either don't use those items or I don't have the coupons to make them that cheap.  But, I know many of you do use some of these goods and might not have the stockpile built up yet, so will definitely want to take advantage of this sale.  Keep in mind, this March to Savings will continue next week as well, so plenty of time to get the items you are looking for.
First I will tell you what I did and then I will post other matchups for items I did not purchase.
My stores double up to and including .50 and triple up to and including .39

Non mega items:
Reach toothbrushes $1.99 - $.50 insert 1-9 SS = $3.96
*Earns a $4 oynso catalina so free
*If you don't have many coupons for this, I suggest you save them for next week at Walgreens where you will be able to make this a $2 money maker with the .99 toothbrushes (if they sale out, you can always do Kroger next week for this offer)

Sour cream and cottage cheese were just want items and I was using a $5/50 homemailer to pay those, no special sale on those items.

17 Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallows .69 each - 8 .50/2 tearpad = $3.73
*I was getting these to test the Kraft catalina, but didn't get it so looks like I have lots of smores in my future!

I think in the Safeway Frozen food booklet has $1/2 bag of Steam fresh Bird Eyes veggy. :) Janky.

Thanks Janky, that one was not listed in the HCW database, I have added it :)

When I bought 5 Pebbles cereals Wednesday, a $2/3 coupon printed. 79c a box for my next trip by Sunday, 3/20. Sweet! (Literally)

I think I saw the Heluva dip for $1.19 (price after mega), so $.19 with the coupon you listed.

Thanks Pheobie, it took me so long to find the Heluva at the store that I was too warn out to write the price down and forgot what it was. I have updated my matchups :)

The Dole fruit crisp coupon I have is .50/1, so .45 each.

Thanks Anon, I have updated the matchups :) I hope I have that value too(was using HCW database for matchups)

I do wish sometimes you and others would not get so many of one item, it is frustrating when I go shopping and everything is gone :(

Stephanie (aka zoeys_mom, ZM) said...

Anon, the store I shopped had a whole endcap of the Pedigree and a whole cardboard display of the marshmallows. I came nowhere close to getting them all. I do have more coupons but I too do not like shelf clearers.

just a question about the dog food bogo. My store will only take off .49. My thought is that the store will get reimbursed the full price that it rings up since the $5.00 comes off at the end. The manager told me she has no idea how the coupons are reimbursed. Just wondering if you have any suggestions.

Stephanie (aka zoeys_mom, ZM) said...

Tracy, the store gets reimbursed the ring up price which is $1. That is the price they are selling it to you UNLESS you buy in groups of 10(which not everyone does) I usually write the price on the coupon for the cashiers and have had no issues. I have spoken with some of the district folks about this and they confirmed this is correct. Now getting all managers to follow this rule is another matter entirely.

I dont understand the link you posted for kroger matchups was for the 24th. this is dated the 17th.??

Anon, the mega sales go for 2 weeks, therefore the matchups I did previously are still good since the sale is still ongoing

I hit the sale tonight and did not get cats to print for the Dole fruit nor the Post pebbles cereal. Do you know when those were ending? Did I read a while ago that there is now a site where you can see all the catalina promos going on? or did I dream that up?
Thanks for all your hard work! I realize now how much it takes!!!!! ;-)
