Walmart Cheapies and Freebies

WOW! If you got the coupons last weekend it is a good time to go shopping at Walmart! This post is to highlight some of the good offerings I have found at Walmart. Some of these I found on my own and some were posted across the blogosphere, I really can't recall the blogs I read the info from first, but I don't read too many blogs regularly since I actually work at work these days. (I will list the blogs I subscribe to and attempt to read the emails too regularly at the end of this post)

Anyway, on to the deals!

$3.97 Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Toilet Kit with bonus refill (a one time offer in Walmart ad)
-$4 insert 9-11 SS
=.03 overage (not pictured because both me and my coupon bud were missing this insert in that weeks paper :( )
*For those of you in Sugar Land I saw these yesterday on the endcap of the paper towel aisle still in the brown shipping boxes, so easily overlooked!

$1 Nivea lip balm (with Randalls ad price match)
-$3/2 insert 10-2 RP
=$1 overage for each 2 purchased (found near the makeup/lotion and on the shelves in front of each register)

$2.94 Cover Girl sponges and powder puffs
-$8/2 insert 10-2 P&G
=$2.12 overage for each 2 purchased (these items are listed under face on the covergirl website :)

.33 Frigo string cheese
-.50 insert 10-2 SS (for Houston there were 2 coupons that weekend, one states frigo heads and specifies a size, another was for .50 off any frigo cheese with no size restrictions)
=.17 overage

$1 Rayovac value bright flashlights
-$1 IP (thanks Courtney)
=FREE

.97 Old Spice bodywash
-$1 insert 10-2 P&G
=.03 overage

With all of those overage items you are bound to get an awesome deal. My coupon bud Courtney sent me this picture of her haul.  She paid .08 oop for ALL this fresh produce!
She will also save up her receipt as she has spent ~ $23 toward the $50 in participation products to earn a $10 rebate from P&G! WOW.(note this rebate requires you to document upc #'s so don't forget to write those down before you donate items)

The blogs I actually attempt to read regularly:
Hip2Save - great for overall deals, most others just copy from her anyway
WhoSaidNothinginLifeisFREE - long name but Amy is very up to date
Coupon Kristin - love to compare her local matchups to mine to see if I missed anything ;P

awesome! i'd been getting the single CG eyeshadows and thought I was doing well, but this tops it!
I didn't know about the other stuff, except I'd heard about the Scrubbing Bubbles; they found some in the back (the same? I need to look closely at your picture), but these scrubbing bubbles one step kits rang up 9.47 and said 8.98 on the shelf tag! They had an ad for this???

I don't see the Scrubbing Bubbles in the picture. The one I saw, which rang up too high, was in a box.

Did HOuston get a $1 coupon for Fleischman's in SS 10/2? or Morton Seaon All .55 coupon in SS 8/21? Austin did not. But if you got those, the Fleischman's is supposed to be 1.12 at Wal Mart, so .12 each. And the Season all is supposed to be .96, so .41 net.

As I stated, Scrubbing Bubbles is not in the picture because my friend and I did not get that coupon.
As stated by Anon 1 and 2, there is another box that is the everyday price and is not the correct one. I hope to be by a WAlmart today so I will try to snap a picture of the display and box I saw that were the correct one (again I have NO coupons for it, so won't be buying)
Anon 3, thanks I will look in our inserts and add those to the post :)

I didn't see the coupon my inserts. Only the page where you can buy the scrubby. Am I missing it? Does anyone know?

hi, what exactly do you mean with the SB being a "one time offer", does this mean it is one per customer? Every store should have it at this sale price? Does the Wal-mart ad come in the Sunday paper? I believe I still have a few Q's left because I had trouble finding very many at Randall's last month.

Qrazy, one time offer with Walmart means this is not a normal stocked item so getting rainchecks will be a waste. Once the warehouse runs out , they will not restock and the deal will be gone. You can get multiples just make sure you use up your coupons because it is not normal merchandise.
My store had an ad at the front door with the offer inside.

does the nivea $3/2 expire 10/16, or is this a newer q?

Anon, yes the coupon expires 10-16

I could not find the Nivea lip balm for $1 at WalMart.
THe only one I found was .17oz for $2.47 today.
Where can I find this deal?
Thanks!!

Yikes anon, I got so carried away trying to get all the details in and post that I forgot to state you need to price match the Randalls ad. Sorry about that :(

Anonymous said...

Oh no, and I needed to know that, as I ordered coupons for Nivea which won't be here until after the Randalls ad is over.
Does the Frigo cheese have to be price matched also?

katycouponers said...

sorry anon!
The frigo is everyday walmart pricing so no price match needed, so you have until jan to use it

I went to WALMART in Miss City and thankfully did ot have any issues w the price matching. It was my first time. Thanks again!!
