Walgreens - Free Jelly Beans and Right Guard and cheap Irish Spring
I had 2 $2 RR expiring today so I had to make a trip to Walgreens to get them spent. Well, before I left, my friends gave me a heads up on the Lifesaver Jelly Beans being free after March booklet coupon. That was a GREAT tip as I needed a filler to use my catalinas so thank you IMM and Jenn for the info on that.
Here is what I did:
4 Right Guard Bodywash $4.49 on bogo sale
2 Irish Spring deodorant $3 each
6 Lifesaver Jelly Beans (on Easter aisle) .50 each
-$3 March Walgreens coupon booklet for Lifesaver Jelly Beans
-$2 - 2 $1 peelies for Irish Spring deodorant
-$6 - 2 $3/2 Right Guard bodywash IPs (no longer available but there is a $2/2 IP)
$6.98
-$4 - $2 $2 RR
= $2.98 oop
Got back $3 RR for purchasing 2 Irish Spring deodorant and
$4 for purchasing 4 Right Guard bodywash
so profit of .02 overall :D

Just fyi to anyone in the Meyerland area, I wouldn't advise trying to get anything free, or even good deals, with coupons at the Walgreens on Willowbend and S Post Oak, there is a cashier there that will try and stop you by picking over the coupon and transaction to the extreme, even calling the manager to try and stop someone from walking out of this location with a good deal, even when it involves just Walgreens coupons. I no longer use coupons at this location, it's a headache and definitely worth driving up to the Astrodome area instead.
