WOW!!! Kroger just keeps rolling out the sales and deals lately!!!!
Kroger will official kick off this sale tomorrow in some Kroger regions, but we will not get the sale until Wednesday here in Tx and La. Normally I would wait until closer to our start date BUT Kroger has decided to raise the bar on this sale!!!!!

I stocked up on so much free bodywash and paper towels and other non-perishables around this time last year that I won't have to buy more until this time next year. I over estimated what the two of us use, but knowing I don't have to buy these things because I have a stockpile brings me so much peace now while my husband is going through a career transition. - Deborah
I make of list of weekly deals for each store and so that if I at the store incidentally I will be prepared to save. - Julie

skip the drinks at the drive thru window... vending machines are everywhere, and cheaper. Or bring something from home. I also look for "kids eat free, or cheap" deals. I stock up on unperishable items, and freeze anything I can when I can buy in bulk (like the 80cent a package chicken thigh deal I ran into at Kroger's this week) I recycle things when possible, like tieing (sp?) bread ties together in links to make cat toys, or filling old water bottles with items for baby toys (dried beans that have been painted to give color work great!) I have an old photo album that I use for my coupons, not the best thing, but I'm too cheap to buy anything else! LOL We also have chickens that make our eggs for us, and they serve as our garbage disposal. We set a bowl on the counter every day and any and all scraps go into it. Chickens will eat anything! I don't feel guilty for wasting food anymore, it saves me on chicken feed, and I don't have to buy eggs anymore. I make great money at my career, but I got into the habit during my college years to save where I can, and I still do that to this day. I also cut the ends of my tubes of facial cleansers and other things (hair products) to get out the last little bit. I can usually use it for several more days with what I can scrape out of the tube. Put it in a ziplock bag to keep it from drying out, and I keep the bags to reuse for the next tube. Old fingernail polish also works great to label things. - Misty
