Playtex $2 coupon reset, Deal at Kroger.

Ok, I know one of the first tricks of couponing is to not be brand loyal, but when it comes to feminine hygeine I absolutely agree you need to get what works for you.  If you are a Playtex kind of gal, then this is a good time to stock up!  Right now Kroger has the 18 count(all varieties) on sale for $2.99.  Print this $2 coupon and it is only .99!

I just happened to see this sale price and had my coupons with me today. I don't need these, but I have two daughters that do.

Thanks for this great find! The Kroger in Spring has Pillsbury frozen biscuits - Butter Tastin on close out for $2 a bag. There's lots of q out there to get them down to $1 per bag. Stock up!

Have you tried the $5.00 w/$25.00 purchase Catalina (ends 9/30) that includes Playtex Gentle Glide/Sport and Energizer batteries, and calculating with the regular price, not the sale price. I found this suggested on another blog that it was working that way. I tried it here at Kroger in Houston and it didn't work for me.
I was just wondering if anyone else in the area tried it using the regular price, not sale price, to reach $25.00 and the Catalina printed on it's own without any management intervention, etc.

Anon, I tried on shelf price with the razors and it did not work but no I did not try with the Playtex.
Also, I went and bought 4 Playtex coupons and they beeped, so just a heads up.

Thank you for letting me know it didn't work when you tried the shelf price. I was tempted to try one more time because the Energizer 20 pack battery sale is soooo tempting but I'm just going to stick with using the sale price for the $25.00 calculation. I know these can be found cheaper, especially if last years free battery sale around Christmas time at Staples repeats itself, but I just can't wait that long :)
