Another HEB BTFE run - wanted to get yogurt.

I noticed HEB has a yellow coupon for free Toaster Strudels wyb Go-gurt. This is how I ran this deal:
4 Simply go-gurt $1.90 each - $1/2 7-25 SS, here or here (also .75/2 here =$5.60
4 Toaster strudels $1.88 - yellow HEB coupon = FREE
2 Bisquick .67 each = $1.34
Total $6.94 - $5 from prior deal = $1.94 oop (or final cost since I earned another $5)

I have been working on a google doc(work in progress with my free time) since this deal goes for the full month. BBF column means I found items in the line that have bonus box tops!

your blog is the best savings blog by far!!! I love seeing all the deals you find and explain so easily how you did it. Haven't decided if I'll post anymore yet, but I check yours everyday! You ROCK!

at my HEB, the small bisquick packages didn't work. :) It was the huge HEB, so maybe I need to go to the regular one. I just took them all back and returned them. )

I agree Stephanie, I hope SWCC comes back too. I enjoy both of your work. Especially when I am so swamped, I can't even see straight.

The BTFE Cat is such a great deal, thank you for all the work you put into it. I am hoping to finally post tonight about the items I have gotten. I have done 5 transactions with it and only three have worked. I am waiting to hear back from catalina about my cats.

Again, thank you for all that you do!

I'm not very familiar with HEBs coupon policy. In your experience, can you stack a manufacturer coupon with the yellow coupons found in the store? Thanks so much for you help!

Rachel, you cannot combine manuf coupons with the yellow coupons that have an M on them (trust me MOST have the M)
You can only combine when you find a B or S marked coupon(let me know if you ever find one, lol)

Here is HEB's full policy

Princess Mom...I did the Bisquick deal at an HEB Plus and it did not work. The next day I went to a regular HEB and did the small boxes of Kotex liners(on clearance for $.45 each) and it worked! I wonder if it has anything to do with certain HEB stores? No idea, but I'd give it another shot!

SWCC...I used to read your blog everyday! I hope you come back! I love both of ya'lls sites...amazing. I've learned from you on how to shop at Randall's! Now, if only we got a Kroger here in Austin! :)

I had a deal not work at uscan at an HEB the other night, went to a different register and it worked. Perhaps when it doesn't print at the register you can try switching? This cat seems to print RIGHT after the 10th item is scanned so it should be easy to stop before payment. Not sure why some registers don't seem to be working though????

After reading the comment(s) about the individual packages of Bisquick not working for some I went to try and noticed within the exact same package types that some had the BTFE cut-out on the bottom and some didn't, so I didn't take any chances and only picked up the ones with the actual BTFE clearly on it. There wasn't enough to add up to 10 so I added 3 other clearly marked BTFE products and the transaction went through perfectly, $5.00 catalina and 70 BTFE catalina that expire an entire year from now.
So, I'm definitely playing this one 100% safe and will only pick up items that have the actual BTFE cut-out on it, not messing around with ones that are listed in the program but don't have the actual BTFE on it. Better for my nerves when checking out, and better to prove the catalinas should have printed if they don't for some reason.
About the combining of coupons, a coupon can be used when the HEB coupon is to get something for free and we have a coupon for the item that needs to be purchased, right? I wasn't going to try it with the Go-gurt and Toaster Strudel but after you blogged about using it I'm hoping it's acceptable system-wide. Were the Go-gurt coupons accepted without a hitch, no cashier not wanting to accept them or beeping followed by a manual coupon push?
Thank you for all the great deals you post.

Thank you anon for your post, perhaps that makes a difference in some stores(still not sure about mine that did not work with all products with btfe)
Yes, I had no issues with the combining of coupons and this has been a readily acceptable practice of coupon usage since I am not using 2 coupons on the same item(I could not use a 2nd coupon on the toaster strudels since I was already using one on those)

YOU ROCK! We just transferred an RX over to HEB and got a $25 gift card! So, I will be heading there to do this deal soon! Thanks so much!

Do you happen to know if HEB sets a limit to how many like coupons you can use in the same transaction? The most I've ever used is 7, but if you buy 10 Betty Crocker Pouch potatoes @ .76 each, use 10 of the .40/1 coupons from the 9/12 SS, it should make for a moneymaker after Box Tops catalina. I figured if anyone knew the answer, you would. Thanks!! :D

I have never been limited, but it is most likely up to the individual store.

Gonna try it tomorrow -- I guess I'll find out for sure! Thanks for your help! :D
