Fsa= flexible spending account. This is an account some employers offer (govt regulated) where you can contribute pre-tax dollars and them submit receipts for reimbursement for eligible medical expenses, thus reducing your taxable income.
Through the end of 2010, you can submit all those Walgreens receipts for cough syrup, contact solution, low dose aspirin, Prevacid, etc receipts for reimbursement from your Flexible Spending Account. Look for receipts that have an "F" next to the item. Mercedes V.
Yep, the F should be on most store receipts now. Included also is bandaids, etc.
For 2011, the govt is not going to allow OTC drugs so you REALLY need to stock up this year.
