I went and did this and I have never shopped there so I didnt know what to expect. anyway, I got told I had to do seperate transactions for each coupon but she didnt seem to mind and then she told me these are free and I cant allow that you have to buy something else...so I ended up getting one more veg can per each coupon and spending .34 cents a tranaction so not bad but anyone else out there that can share there experience with DG would be helpful. thanks
I have never had a problem getting this free at dollar general, but I do know when my mom was using the coupons when they were .12 a can, they said they had to ring 3, then the coupon. She said that at the first store they tried ringing up all the veggies then the coupons and the machine would not take them, but like this they had zero issues.
Sorry you had to buy extra. I guess you could always return the extras when you are by a dollar general, lol.
