I got an email from CVS to save $5 off a $30 purchase so I decided to see if I could scrounge up a deal to get some stuff free or cheap. This is what I came up with:

Cold Buster Warmer syrup $8.99 (earns 8.99 ecb)
4 Herbal Essence s/c $2.50 each - $2 insert 10-31 P&G* = $2
1 Prevacid 12.29 - $3 ECB - $6 Kroger pharmacy booklet q = 3.29
-$5/30
-$8.49 ECBS
Tax: .04
Cost oop: $.83 and earned back $8.99 in ECBS
Final cost: $8.49 + .83 - $8.99 = .33 total

*There is a $2 coupon in the most recent P&G insert that pictures hairdye but states $2 off the Clairol family.  Herbal Essence is a Clairol product and the manager agreed with me this coupon could be used on the shampoo.  They did not beep either.
