HEB accepts coupons at face value. You can review their coupon policyhere.
Something to note on my matchups. I will label the store coupons with an M or a B once I am aware which they are. B store coupons can be combined with paper coupons for added savings, M store coupons cannot.
I walked up and down the aisles of my HEB to find hidden deals. Here is what I found: (it is a slow week, didn't see much good this week)
Revlon B $1 tool coupon is back. You should be able to get free emery boards or nail trimmers or cheap other items combining with $1 insert 1-29 SS
$1.50 Mitchum B coupon. Combine with $1 IP, you can get deodorant for as low as .90.
I found one more AWESOME clearance deal tonight which I will make a separate post (gotta take a picture first)

Anon, this issue right now really varies greatly by store and even by cashier. Most the time I go now, they just confirm I purchased the item on that coupon and will manually enter it. I have made a point to put those items last in my transaction so they are easily found in the bags for verification. Good luck :D
