Readers - I have added a Search box for your convenience

I am slowly trying to add a few features to my blog to help you find information conveniently, or at least find it again later. I know I hate going to a website or blog and reading something that at the time does not mean much to me, but then later, I see a sale or something that makes me want to read that info again only to realize I didn't bookmark it. I might know what blog I read it on, but some of the blogs I read can have 30 posts a day, so searching can take awhile. Well, hopefully my new feature will help you guys find stuff easier on my blog. I have to admit so far all I have done is add it but have yet to test it out! So if you are in the testing mood, please let me know how it is working for you.  You can find this search feature on the right column of my blog after the most popular posts but before the coupon links.

The other feature has been here for awhile but I know some of you don't know it exists (judging by some comments I have received). That feature is the tag feature for like posts. If you use the pull down it shows the tags you can search by. I know I have had people wonder how to find just the HEB posts and hate scrolling through pages and pages to find them. If you use the second feature pictured above, you can sort by HEB and all posts you see will only be my HEB posts! Cool huh!

Let me know what else you might like to see to make your time on my blog easier and user friendly and I will see what I can do!
And before I even open this to commments and suggestions, I have thought long and hard over the suggestion to add a coupon database but I will not be doing this. I am sorry but to me the HCW database is the best I have ever seen and I can't even come close to rival them nor can any other bloggers database. If you want to know if a coupon exist, they are the most extensive you will find and I suggest you bookmark that one to see what all is out there. And for those of you that do not know, if you create an account at HCW and view the database while logged in you see ALL the entries whereas if you view as a guest you only see about half :D

Don't understand my lingo? Go here.   Some links provided in this post may help fund my blog - see my disclosure statement here.

1.How about a grid which shows which local stores double/ triple /
have catalina machines (my local Foodtown doesn't have catalinas.
2.How about a place where we can post special finds - only mention this because sometimes readers post some deals on the chat roll - I can only see the current page on my IPhone and occasionally by the time I get home when I scroll back the deal or link has disappeared. You do a great job of posting some of our deals but occasionally I miss some on the chatroll.
And thanks again for your generosity of time & devotion to maintaining this blog. Mercedes V.
