Freepeats Lifetime Membership fee WAIVED in September

I love a good deal and even better, I love a good barter group. Well, I have a friend that told me about this great site called Freepeats (granted she told me about it in April). Well, upon checking it out, it looked interesting, but it has a lifetime membership fee and I am just too darn cheap to even pay that ( it is only $4.95, lol)

Well, it seems they are waiving the LIFETIME membership fee for the month of September!
There are only 54 participating cities in the country right now, but I am sure as interest in other areas increases, so will the locations. Now you are probably asking, "What is Freepeats?"
Freepeats is the "baby and kid" version of freecycle.

Directly from the main page: "Pass on your baby clothing, gear, toys, maternity wear and more to local parents, and find items you want that others are giving away. Freepeats is an easy, convenient way to recycle baby, kid and maternity items with a lot of life left in them."

So go and sign up right now during free enrollment, especially if you have a huge stash of baby and kids gear that is taking up much needed space. You might even be able to score some items you DO need.

Do keep in mind the terms and condition for inactive accounts:

Memberships wherein the member's account has not been accessed for 90 days will be considered inactive. Inactive memberships held by members who joined during their forum's free period (generally the first 30 days) will be cancelled by Freepeats. Members who wish to rejoin may do so at the $4.95 lifetime membership rate. Paid memberships are not subject to cancellation due to inactivity.
