CVS transaction - $1.26 OOP

I ran into a CVS today to get my last gallon of milk to qualify for the unadvertised deal of buy 5 gallons get one free. Went to the scanner first to see if it would give me any coupons and it gave me one: $10 off a purchase of $50 or more. I have not gotten one of these in ages, so it was burning a whole in my hand(lol). Well, went back to the pharmacy and they had a ton of the Freestyle Lite monitors that are on sale this week for $9.99. I still have $9.99 coupons for these from the 5-17SS so I did the following:
4 Freestyle Lite monitors $9.99 each - $9.99 coupon
1 milk $2.69
1 Natures Own bread $2.59
1 Tropicana OJ $4.49
1 Dr pepper 20 oz $1.49
-$10/50 coupon
Total oop(on gift card from prescriptions) $1.26 and in two days, I should qualify for my free gallon of milk for buying 5 during the promotional period.

Awesome! Hey, you may have already answered this, but where do you donate your meters? I have a stack of the Bayer Contours I need to give away. I thought for sure I could find people at church, and no one needed them!

Slott- I am not exactly sure where all the monitors get donated. I give them to my home and she distributes them in her small town.

Anon, I file my extra inserts by date and filter out the expireds regularly, then condense the files as they get smaller so I really do not know which SS the would be in, sorry. I use the coupon database at HCW to tell me where to find my coupons: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/coupon.php
