CVS transaction - $1.26 OOP

I ran into a CVS today to get my last gallon of milk to qualify for the unadvertised deal of buy 5 gallons get one free. Went to the scanner first to see if it would give me any coupons and it gave me one: $10 off a purchase of $50 or more. I have not gotten one of these in ages, so it was burning a whole in my hand(lol). Well, went back to the pharmacy and they had a ton of the Freestyle Lite monitors that are on sale this week for $9.99. I still have $9.99 coupons for these from the 5-17SS so I did the following:
4 Freestyle Lite monitors $9.99 each - $9.99 coupon
1 milk $2.69
1 Natures Own bread $2.59
1 Tropicana OJ $4.49
1 Dr pepper 20 oz $1.49
-$10/50 coupon
Total oop(on gift card from prescriptions) $1.26 and in two days, I should qualify for my free gallon of milk for buying 5 during the promotional period.

Awesome! Hey, you may have already answered this, but where do you donate your meters? I have a stack of the Bayer Contours I need to give away. I thought for sure I could find people at church, and no one needed them!

I must be crazy cuz I searched high and low in the insert for the glucose coupons and could not find them...there were two SS inserts that week, do you know which one they came out of? Thanx

Slott- I am not exactly sure where all the monitors get donated. I give them to my home and she distributes them in her small town.

Anon, I file my extra inserts by date and filter out the expireds regularly, then condense the files as they get smaller so I really do not know which SS the would be in, sorry. I use the coupon database at HCW to tell me where to find my coupons:
