Please remember my store doubles 1 like coupons up to .50 and triples 1 like coupon up to .39
Here is what I did:
1 Annie mac and cheese .99 - .50 IP = FREE
1 Lance snacks $2 - $1 IP = $1
1 Pure Via $1.99 - $2 insert = -.01 (this coupon did beep)
1 Betty Crocker cookie mix $2.29 -2 .40 shortcuts - $1 cellfire(wyb cookie mix and frosting) - .40 insert 12-13SS= -.31
1 Betty Crocker Warm Delights $1.50(only the Lemon cake was this price) - 2 .50 cellfire - .50 shortcuts - .50 IP = -$1
1 John Frieda Root Awakening detangler $5.49 - 2 $2 cellfire - $2.50 IP(no longer available)* = -$1.01
4 Purina Cheweez Sticks $5 - $1 cellfire - $4/4 insert(beeps) 11-15 SS = FREE
5 Betty Crocker fruit snacks $2 each - .50/2 cellfire - .50/2 shortcuts - .40 shortcuts- $1/2 IP? - .50/2 IP - .40 IP = $6.20
-2 $3 wyb 3 participating products
4 Philadelpia Cream Cheese $1.49 each - 2 $1/2 booklet coupons(found on Bud Light display) =$3.96
1 Breakstone cottage cheese doubles $1.29
-$5 oynso catalina from prior order
Tax: .28
Cost oop: $1.46
*I could not find these 2 coupons on the receipt but I still cannot get the math to balance. I had a sick kiddo with me that was distracting so I might have missed something else. We were just waiting on her presciption to get filled otherwise I would have paid more attention.
I earned a $5 for purchasing 5 participating Kraft and $3.50 for purchasing 5 BC fruit snacks in one order
so overall cost 6.46 - 8.50 cat's earned = $2.04 profit

How do you get more than one electronic coupon to come off? If I have the same coupon on Cellfire & Shortcuts, but only buy 1 item, then only 1 eCoupon comes off.
Leah, at my Randalls all my loadables come off, at Kroger only 1 will. I don't do anything special but load my card and scan it at the register.
My Randall's wouldn't take my Annie's coupon because when doubled it would make the item free or give me a penny credit. I think I just got a checker who was a stickler for the rules. He carefully read each coupon and then double checked the items price. He even rescanned some of my items to see what the register would say.
Lesson learned: Don't go late at night when you are the only customer and the checker has plenty of time. :-)
lol Smarter. The coupon does autoadjust to NOT allow for overage, so if you find the right cashier, you should get the item free. Good luck next time with the coupon, sounds like you got a cranky cashier.
Do you ever notice that more loadables come off then you thought you had? For example, I swear that I count that I have 3 Warm Delight coupons from cellfire and shortcuts, but when I buy one 4 loadables will come off. It's happened several times recently and my neighbor has noticed the same thing. Not that I'm complaining, but does this ever happen to you?
Sheri, yes I have had a suprise loadable come off in the past, usually shortcuts is the culprit as I get emails from them that says what comes off and it doesn't always match my printed list.
There is also a .75/1 Philly brick or soft in the "Make It Tonight" books on display at Randalls. Plenty of books all over the store, over $20 in-store savings. Do you know if you can use more than one store coupon at a time, for instance 5 philly cpns at once? Also, spotted a tearpad .50/1 on a display with Annie's mac & cheese.
Cheri, if the coupon does not say limit 1 per customer, then you can use multiples. I have not had luck finding that coupon booklet yet at my stores, nor have I found the Annie's tearpad
I couldn't find the Annies mac and cheese yesterday. Did you find it next to the Kraft mac and cheese?
Anon, yes the Annie's was right next to the other mac and cheese. There were 3 varieties.
My store had Annie's mac n chz up the aisle a little further, next to Betty Crocker's potato items... took me a while to find it.
I just had the most mortifying experience which leads me to believe I am on the right track to becoming an extreme couponing woman! Purchased $55 dollars of stuff at Randall's after club card but before coupons. Guy sees I have multiples of Cheerios, softsoap, Cinn Toast Crunch... and says "I can only use one of these per purchase", but I just smiled and said, no not transaction, but purchase and there is a box for every coupon. Nope, wouldn't do it. Asked him to call manager, and she backed him up!!!!! He was quietly admonishing me and made me feel like a CRIMINAL. I apologized for his time and the confusion and walked out.
Anon, I am sorry for your bad experience, we all get days like that and I will admit I have walked out of a store a time or two due to not having the energy to argue with them any longer. You did good if you did not lose your temper and just try again another day or another store, you are certainly WELL on your way!
Thanks Stephanie! I appreciate the support. I kept my cool because I knew others had been there before me and I can't give Extreme Couponers a bad name by losing my temper! Ha! It was awful, but the drug of saving money will keep me coming back!
All you do is so appreciated. I hope you know that!
is the purevia sweetner in the ad? my randalls did not carry this item. also how did you know the price of the item. i could not find it in the ad for this week. i would like to get a rain check but if they don't carry it i guess i can't. also i can't price match it because i can't find it in the ad. just wondering your thoughts. thank you for all your help.
Anon, I don't get all my deals from an ad alone. Most stores also have unadvertised sales, for these you cannot get rainchecks and you have to rely on your own findings or the findings of friends or blogs. I usually walk the aisles looking for other sales not found in ads and I have a circle of friends that do the same. We share with each other these finds, but if they are NOT in the ad, you are right, they will not issue a rain check. The good news on the Purevia is the date on the tag is long dated(at least a month) so plenty of time to stock up.
The IPs all have "Do Not Double or Triple" written on top. Did yours say the same?
Chris, some of them might have said that, I am not sure as I have used them up. Usually the doubling is automatically done by the register if the coupon starts with a 5.
