HEB deal on Chicken and a Skillet!

This next deal was brought to my attention by one of my readers and is local to the Texas(mostly) folks. Thank you Fun times with the Larsen's for the heads up on this deal. For those of you with an HEB, there is a great deal right now on chicken fajita meat and they will give you a preseasoned cast iron fajita skillet for FREE.
The Seasoned Fajita Chicken Thighs are already at a low price of .99/lb and packaged in 4-5 lbs packages. Right next to them, you should find a display of skillets and the famous yellow coupons that will get you a free skillet for each fajita package you purchase.
I found a package just a bit over $4 and got the skillet for FREE! For my family that package will easily make 2 meals, maybe more. Enjoy!

Do you know how long the deal is going on for? If it ends today I need to make a run on the way home.

Sorry, I am not sure about the chicken price, but the skillet free coupon does not expire until the 7th or the 17th, I didn't look that close.

I just rushed to HEB last night, 5 minutes before they closed, thinking the deal was weekly and ended yesterday, Tuesday, and it doesn't end until the 17th per the coupon at the HEB in Shadow Creek Ranch area, Pearland. Plenty of time to get some extra skillets for possible Holiday gifts, maybe put together in a Fajita themed gift basket. I personally need to try the meat first, it doesn't look too appealing, but I'll give it a try and hopefully I will like it and then go pick up a few more of these SUPER deals. Thank you for the heads-up about this deal, I rarely go to HEB so I probably wouldn't have found this without your post.

Just a quick fyi for anyone thinking about getting the deal, the skillet price deducted on my receipt in Pearland was $5.99. I don't know if this is their everyday price. I just thought I would submit this comment if anyone was wondering.

My sister said her husband liked the meat but as we all know MEN will eat anything when they are hungry. We need to try the meat before we get more too.

Thanks for the heads up! I went to HEB today & was trying to see how cheap I could get the chicken to qualify. I purchased two $2.86 bags of chicken & it worked!! Practically free =)
