I highly doubt I would have know about this without you :)
As an added bonus, when I went to samsclub.com and clicked through the ad about the free event, it looks like during the free event they have added an extra bonus for those who want to start a membership.
A free cookbook if a membership is started in-store, or a $10.00 gift card if started on-line (good at samsclub.com or walmart.com)
Plus, if you go through a shopping rebate site, a possible 1% cash back. Mrrebates, shopathome, and upromise all have samsclub.com at 1% right now. Hey, pennies add up ;)
I just might have to get a membership, even if it's just for hopefully lower gas prices, and the fun/big slices of pizza at the little cafe area my little one likes at one of the locations.

About the egift card offer, looks like it's for qualifying new members and will be sent 5 days from end of offer. Crossing my fingers I will get it since I haven't been a member for over 5 years.
