HOT!!!! Science Diet for just $0.99 - Petsmart

As you can tell, I was SOOO excited about this deal that my picture is super blurry (guess I didn't have to bother with watermark, lol)

Anyway, there is an unadvertised deal on Science Diet cat food at Petsmart for the next 3 days.  The 3.5-4 lb bags are one sale $7.99 for Petsperk members(sign up here).
If you go here, you can print 2 coupons for $7 off ANY bag of Science Diet cat food.

So just $0.99 WHOOP!

I looked in the ad to see if it was there so I could price match and do it at Petco too, but as I said, it is unadvertised :D

Thanks Courtney and Jennifer <3 p="p">

Randalls Run - Wow.......exhausting at checkouts

Reminder, you can always click the picture to enlarge the image :D

I decided to go NUTS and try to get up to $75 at Randalls today so I could score the advertised $10 oynso catalina for doing so.  -I should note here that in MY personal experience running this promo, as long as my total is $75 after ALL Randall's savings but BEFORE manufacturer coupons, it has printed without fail (NOT COUNTING TAX).  The way I personally watch for this is to let them scan everything and total my order.  Then I hand them all the Randall's STORE coupons and have them hit total.   I look at that total and subtract the tax, if I am NOT at $75 at that point I add items until I am(hence the Clif Bars, lol)

Now, on to what I did (hope I can make this make sense with all the various discounts)
I should probably preference with a few reminders.  If you have not signed up yet for the Just4U program at Randalls, you might want to, many of my discounts came from this program. I am not going to go into the various parts of that program here, since you can read the longwinded blog post here and here to read ALL about it. Also note, my store doubles and triples the first identical coupon, all others are at face value.

Ok, so here goes
1 Aquafina 1 liter $1 - .50 tearpad(I found mine at Stripes) = FREE

1 Yoplait Simplait $0.69 - .30 coupon from 8/26 SS = FREE

4 Reach toothbrushes @ .72 each = $2.88 (earns $4 oynso, also coupons in 7/29 RP, I was out)

8 Herbal Essences $2.49 each*** after in ad and J4U coupon =$19.92 - 4 $3/2 coupons from 8/5 RP = $7.92

Onion******* $1.23 - 20% J4U for produce = .99

3 lb Gala Apples $3.99 - $1 J4U - 20% produce J4U = $2.19

I paid with a $2, $3 and $4 oynso I had from previous deals and tax was .05
OOP: $40.97

Got back $24 in catalinas

Final cost comes to $25.37 (40.97 + 9 cat - 24 in cats earned = 25.37)
Should have been $4.29 less if everything had rang up correctly, but it took me over an hour to figure out my receipt, lol

*I was counting $2 toward the $75 forgetting it might calculate as a Randalls savings, oops
**My loadable is for $1/2 but I had a winetag off $1, it beeped stating a digital coupon came off, glitch?
***If you will note, the in ad coupon and J4U coupon says limit 4, but you can get 4 PER so I got 8
****I was expecting this to come off once but it came off on all?
*****rang up full price $4.49 today but was still signed, cashier messed up taking the correct amount off I am listing what it should have been in theory
******I had a $5 off $20 Rancher Reserve coupon but it only took off the one product???
*******I bought a sweet onion so I could get personalized pricing but cashier rung up large yellow onion which cost me more

Hopefully some of you can score some of these deals as well!

HEB Unadvertised Finds

I am trying to get back on routine and thus I walked HEB during my lunch break to find some unadvertised deals for you guys.
First (Just for Julia!) I noticed a new Mitchum B coupon out for $1.50.  As all my readers should know by now, you can combine B HEB coupons with manuf. coupons for extra savings.
So, if you were to buy the $2.68 deodorant pictured, your deal would look like this:
$2.78
-$1.50 B coupon
-.75 insert 8/19 Smart Source
=$0.53
I know a few peeps that are brand loyal to this brand so they will probably be stocking up.
(Cheapest women's I noticed was $3.40)

Next I noticed this multipurpose B coupon for Always Infinity, Radiant, or Tampax Radiant or Pearl
Combine the $2 off 2 B coupons with the $2 coupons found in the 7/29 Proctor and Gamble inserts(expire Friday!!!)
And get Tampax Pearl as low as $0.92 a box when you buy 2!

If you are a fan of Rimmel Cosmetics.  They have a new $1.50 B coupon out, making the eye pencils as low as $0.09 when you combine with the $1 insert from 8/26 Red Plum or 7/29 RP

If you are in need of some reusable plastic ware, you can get some Rubbermaid for $0.97 a container.  Note, this is an M coupon so cannot be combined, but not a bad price either.

If you are a mechanical pencil nut like me, you might want to look for this M coupon.  If you need refill lead, you can get a container of 30 for just $0.47!

And, saving the best for last:
My favorite B coupon is back!!!!! Cover Girl!
Combine this with the $1 off or $3/2 coupons in the 7/29 or 8/26 Proctor and Gamble and you are gonna score yourself some better than free eye shadow!  Woo Hoo!  Note, the 7/29 coupons expire Friday.
(sorry to my Austin readers, I know you don't have the cheap priced eye shadow :(  )

RARE - Bush's Beans Coupon

I just got home and went to print coupons (will do a post on the ones I think are worth printing next) but wanted to bring this one to your attention first!  Bush's Beans coupons do not come out very often so I print them whenever available.  My hubs loved baked beans!

Go here to print a coupon for $1/2 baked or Grillin Beans.  I am hoping I can find a deal on them at Randalls or HEB.

Quick bites - HEB

Not everyone will have this coupon ,but if you follow me regularly you might have printed this.  I remember posting a deal(sorry I can't even find it now) about getting these free at Randalls with this $5 IP.  Unfortunately for me, my Randalls does not carry these but guess it turned out in my advantage.  So check your coupon printable stash cause if you still have this $5 printable, you can get these Enfamil ready to drink better than free after printable and B yellow coupon at HEB.
Please note per HEB policy, you can combine B yellow coupons with manufacturer coupons daily :D

Dollar Tree to Start Accepting Coupons Sunday Aug 26th

Dollar Tree is now joining the bandwagon of taking coupons!  Are you excited?
Well, lets calm down just a little and realize that this is a VERY new policy for them and the training might not be there right off with the cashiers.
So, first, be sure to head here (third section down) and print the online coupon policy to take with you, if you venture there.
Now, make sure you read the policy before going NUTS as it does clearly state they have the right to limit quantities.  If you go too crazy they might just change there minds and say "forget about it"

So, I ventured to a Dollar Tree the other day on my lunch and have to admit I was not 100% impressed with the number of name brand items they carry, but there are a few items that will be free I might venture in for (wonder how they are about rainchecks?)

I took a few pics.  Keep in mind everything in the store is $1 (or less in the case of things like greeting cards) so I am not gonna list pricing, lol.

The 9.25 oz box of Shredded Wheat can be yours FREE with printable here OR
if you have the 8/12 Smart Source insert, check there first to save your ink :D

According to the database there is a regional .75/1 Nature's Own product coupon in 8/5 SS
Just be sure to check the dates on the bread as I noticed many were VERY short dated, but yum! I love Nature's own, especially if I can get a loaf for .25, and I freeze bread :D
I don't think the currentl coupon out works for this size, but I know sometimes there are less restrictions, so keeping fingers crossed for one of those in future inserts

Wall of soap, I see some Olay in  there that has potential for free later. Don't see any GREAT deals right now as I can get better at Randalls with doubles/triples, but something for sure to watch.
These are bound to be free eventually too :D

For more matchups, check out HCW's Dollar Tree forum.

Meme credit to HCW.

Randalls Run - $12.53 Final OOP

Well, this was an interesting trip to Randalls for me,  First off, after over a decade of being married to the hubs I brought up Pistachios only to find out he LOVES them!  Apparently I have trained him TOO well to give up the things he likes that are pricey, lol. Well, lucky for him, Randalls J4U put them in a price range I was willing to pay and I found out he likes them so they are back on the "when on sale buy list"
So, I decided to try an at least $50 before coupons order so I could use a Recyclebank $5 off $50 coupon and this is how it panned out.

2 Wonderful Pistachios $5.99  bogo sale
-$1.20 for 20 % off J4U discount

Papa Johns Rewards - Earn Free Pizza

Have you joined Papa John's Rewards yet?
If you like Papa John's you might want to consider it.  It is a free program and when I signed up they were offering free points.  Three times since then I have been given promotional points that last for a limited time, resulting in me getting absolutely free pizza.
You just need to earn 25 points for a free pizza and so far I know I have received at least 3 free and I think I have only ordered and paid for 1 in the time I have been a member.  Friday in fact, I got an email that says they are giving me 15 points that are good until 8/23.  With my existing points, that is a free pizza for me :D
Go here to sign up, it is free and you might just score a free pizza soon!

So proud of this receipt - random unrelated giveaway!!!

This coupon item itself holds no significant value but the receipt it is attached to holds GREAT value to me.  .
Anyway, the reason this CRT (slang for receipt coupon at CVS) is so valuable to me is because it was attached to the receipt my husband brought home from CVS!  I have been married to this man for over a decade and have couponed the whole marriage but only like this 99% percent of the marriage :P
While my husband refuses to coupon (trust me he has tried and failed miserable EVERY time so has given up!) one thing he CAN do is remember to at least INSIST on getting the card scanned or our number entered for credit.  Whether it be for gas credits at Randalls, pharmacy credits at CVS or points to the next free oil change at our car service, he CAN do that and for that I am so happy!  This coupon came from todays receipt.  He went and picked up his prescription, didn't even tell me he was doing it and I came home to a new receipt on my pile with coupons that confirmed HE USED THE CARD! :D

So, anyway, enough babbling, I have not done much shopping due to our week of hell BUT I don't want you guys to suffer due to my crazy week.
I have decided (actually it was a great idea masterminded by a very awesome coupon bud that keeps me in check with reality) to do a coupon giveaway.
I know many of my readers are still rock hard Kroger shoppers and right now I know the soft pack of Huggies Wipes are $1.49 after mega.  I have quite a few .75 Huggies wipes coupons that would make these just .74 after mega. Seeing as that is a buy price I would tackle if I was in the diaper stage still, I would HATE for these to go to waste.
So, as a giveway, I will giveaway a group of 10 of these coupons to one lucky reader.
The more entries I get, the more groups of ten I will give away, up to as many as I have (I am too lazy to count right now)
So, just post a comment here to be entered to win these coupons.  The only requirements is limit 1 entry per person and you need to leave some kind of identifying information so I can contact you in the event you win.

I will pick the winners Monday evening so I can mail Tuesday as the sale should go for 2 weeks as is typical of mega sales at Kroger.
Good luck.

Kroger Mega Sale

I saw Kroger was having another mega event so decided to walk up and down the aisles to se if I could find any hot deals for this sale.  Sadly, I didn't find much and noticed regular prices have certainly gone up -Reach floss used to be $1 before we lost doubles, then they went to daily price of $1.05, now they are $1.07 daily :(

Ok, first off, for those that don't know what the mega sale is, you have to purchase 10 participating items in a single transaction to get .50 off per item.  You can do multiple megas in a single transaction but you have to make sure you do them in groupings of 10.
So, some deals you might not have seen:

Hormel compleats are $1.99 after mega BUT if your store is like this one, you might find some on clearance.
This store had 1 kids for $1.49 and 2 regular for $1.61
Deduct .50 for the mega and $1 printable and you have
FREE - .11 each

Pup- Pepperoni are $1.99
My coupon bud reports if you buy 2 or more you get a $2 oynso
Combine that with the $1.25 printable or $1.50 printable if you have the paid coupons.com membership(if you have the paid membership, print the 1.25 first then log in and it will let you print the $1.50 too)
After $2 oynso, you have a money maker with either coupon, just be sure to buy only 2 per transaction!

Kleenex tissues $.99
Use the $0.60 insert from 2 weeks ago(spanish inserts) to get them for just .39
Great for back to school time

Nabisco Snack Saks $0.99
Use $1/2 printables to get them for .49 each

Pillsbury Toaster Strudels are $1.49
Look for specially marked boxes that will score you a $5 rebate when you buy 3 in a single transaction
if you find them, buy 3 with the $.85/3 printable
Your total on these 3(assuming you have 7 other mega items) will be $4.47 - .85 - $5 rebate = $1.38 MM

Hefty One Zip Storage Bags $.99
Use $.55 printable or $1/2 insert 5-13 SS or 7/29 RP
Pay as low as .44 each

Del Monte canned veggies $.75
Buy 6 and get $2 oynso so
$4.50 - $2 = $2.50 or .42 each

Turkey Hill tea is .89
Use $1/2 insert 7/22 or 8/12 RP (limit 1 per transaction)
.39 each

Smart Balance spread $1.99
Use $1.75 printable
$.24 each
*Need to double check on this one as I am being told these might be two different products, need to go check after work

Chex mix is .99
Use $.60 printable to get for just .39

Not on Mega:
.99 White seedless grapes

If I missed any, I know Glenn will help me out :D
Thanks

Target - Free Dr Scholl's Insoles - YMMV

Target seems to be having an unadvertised gift card promo on select Dr Scholls insoles and a few other Dr Scholl's items.

If you are a member of BzzAgent, you may have invited a few months ago to participate in the Dr Scholl's BzzCampaign.  If so, perhaps you might still have a $5 coupon or two from that promo you can score free gel insoles.
There is a $5 off 2 Target printable here (sort by healthcare). Combine with 2 $5 BzzAgent coupons and this is what it will look like

2 Mens massaging gel Work insoles $9.49 each
-5/2 Target printable
-2 $5  BzzAgent coupons
=$3.98 oop but earn $5 Target gift card
Better than free insoles

*The Womens massaging gel Work insoles are $10.49 so I did 1 of the mens and 1 womans in a single transaction.  Paid $4.98 and got back $5, still FREE :D

If you don't have the $5 from BzzAgent, there are also $2 printables for any Dr Scholls for her product.  Cheapest I saw that was participating was $7.99.  Print 2 coupons and get 2 for .98 total! (look for peelies for $2 off as well)

Food Town Ad - Aug 15th - 21st

Food Town has about 26 locations in and around the Houston area.  Find out if you are close to one here.

If you are, you can either shop in store, or take your ad to Walmart to price match.
You can get on their home mailer list by stopping in at your store and asking at the service desk to be added to the mailing list.  Then, you should get a 2 page homemailer every week.  In this mailer is a coupon good for a deal of the week that can be combined with manufacturer coupons for added savings.

Food Town does NOT double or triple coupons and it is store policy to adjust the coupon down to the value of the item.  Most locations have a posted policy that states a limit of 6 like coupons.

Family Pack Fresh Bone In Loin End Pork Chops $0.99/lb

Red Ripe Large Tomatoes $0.69lb

La Moderna Pasta shells, spaghetti, or elbow (7 oz) $0.25

Kelloggs 18 oz Frosted Flakes, 14.7 oz Froot Loops or Apple Jacks, 21.7 oz Cocoa Krispies or 15 oz Corn Pops $1.99
Use $1 coupon from homemailer ad with a $10 additonal purchase
=$0.99

Dr Pepper (2 liter) $0.99
Use $1/2 coupon from 6/24 Smart Source insert
$0.49 each after coupon

Randalls - Reader Spotlight on Ragu Pasta Sauce

I have to admit I can't find EVERY deal on my own so I appreciate even more my readers who are out there and willing to share their great finds too!  This sweet deal comes from Dee Rod and should be able to be found at most Randalls, Safeway or Tom Thumb stores.
While most Ragu prouducts are bogo @ 2.49, there are at least 2 varieties that are $1.49 bogo (buy one get one free).
Couple this sale with the .50/2 insert coupon from 7/29 Red Plum and you can score a sweet deal.

Should look a bit like this:
4 Ragu pasta sauce @ $1.49 = $5.96
-$2.98  from bogo sale
-$1 - .50 coupon doubled (first doubles)
=$1.98 for 4 or .50 each

*note Randalls policy states you cannot use a coupon on the free portion of a bogo sale so you have to purchase 4 to use this coupon.

Thanks Dee Rod for this awesome match up.  I totally missed this one :D

Edit to add: If you need pasta to go with that sauce, some of the Barilla blue box are $1 (or $1.02 with personalized pricing if you have that one)
Use the $1/2 insert from 6-24 Smart Source to get them for .50 a box.

Throw in some bread and you have yourself dinner for 4 for under $5 :D

Randalls - Run to work the $4 off 4 or more + a few other scores

I was happy to restock our granola bar inventory for a pretty cheap price.  I split this into two transctions so I could use my catalina from the first to pay for the second.

Trans #1:
3 Reach Toothbrushes @ 1.72
1 Reach toothbrush @ 1.87
-2  $2 printable  or $1 insert 7/29 Red Plum

2 Francesco Rinaldi pasta sauce $1.25
Use .50 insert 8-5 Red Plum doubles
=.25 for 2 (remember Randalls does not allow a coupon on the free item so just use 1 coupon)

= $3.28 cost oop
Earned $4 oynso for buying 4 Reach toothbrushes (told you to save those coupons for the MM :P)

Trans #2:
Items on the $4 off 4 - prices listed assume you bought at least 4 participating items(basically takes $1 off each price)
2 Apple Cinnamon Chex $1.49 - $1 printable (no longer available) or .50/1 insert 7/15 Smart Source doubled = .49

2 Motts fruit snacks .99 - .50/2 insert 6/24 Smart Source = .49 each
*There is also a .50/1 in the 7/8 Smart Source that will make one free, I just didn't have it clipped

1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch $1.49 - .50 printable = .49

2 Nature Valley Protein bars $2 -  .50 printable  doubled - .50 insert doubled 8/5 GM = $2.00

*not part of $4 off 4
3 Nature Valley granola bars $1.79 with in ad coupon - .50/2 printable  doubled or $1/3 insert 8-5 GM=$4.37

Used $4 catalina from first transaction
Paid  $4.49 (catalina takes off tax but all my items were non-taxable so I had -.33 tax)
Earned $3 oynso for buying 5 Nature Valley granola bars.

So overall, everything cost me:
$3.28 + $4.49  - $3 = $4.77 or .30 an item
(In this tally since I used the $4 to pay down the second trans, I cannot count it as a minus or I would be double counting it)

Glade Expressions - found the FREES :D

While the Glade Misters are FREE with the $3 printable at Walmart, Target and probably a few other places I have not looked yet (I got mine at Walmart tonight) the only place I have seen the Oil Diffusers free is at HEB on clearance pricing. (they cost .98 at most other stores after $5 coupon)
YMMV on finding these since they are clearanced but for those of you in Sugar Land, they did have some left after I left the store :D

As a reminder, you can print the $3 and $5 coupons in three different spots

Here, Here and Here for the $3 off misters
HereHere and  Here for the $5 off oil diffuser

And as a bonus, my HEB store now has the capability to scan the new barcodes on coupons YAY!!!!
