Kroger Mega Event, final tally for giveaway!

I had to run to Kroger to pick up a couple items for my kiddos birthday party, so I decided to go ahead and snag some deals from the mega event while there. I did one large transaction and thought for sure I would spend my $29.50 remaining on my gift card. Boy was I WRONG! Even with non-mega items, I saved a bundle! I will mark non-mega event items with a * in my tally

I thought Saturday I would be done shopping, but I was wrong! Kroger had such good deals and prices with this event, I still had over half my gift card left in addition to $7 in catalinas from the mega event items. I did the following on Sunday as I thought for my final transaction:

I could not believe I had over 3 dollars still on my gift card so I went back and did one final transaction!

7 Quaker Quakes or Tortillaz .99 each
3 Beech-Nut foods* .66 each - free insert 8-2 SS
-$5 mega promo
Tax 0
Total oop $3.25

I hate to admit it, but I didn't actually finish spending the $30! I still have $0.11 LEFT on the gift card! WOW!!!!!!

So taking my tally from this post and today:

Total number of items purchased: 115
Total OOP spent: $29.89 (just .11 shy of the gift card)
Total cost without coupons (Kroger card price-value used for contest winnings!) = $203.32
85% savings
So the winner will be the person who guessed the closest to $203 without going over!

Winner is Lori Sifuentes with a guess of $202. You have 24 hours to contact me or else a new winner will be selected.

This was such a fun challenge and I want to again send a HUGE Thank You to General Mills, Pepsico and MyBlogSpark for this Wonderful giveaway.
Not only did I get enough food to feed my family for over a week, but I got several items(fruit snacks and granola bars) with bonus Box Tops for Education on them! I have not counted how much I earned in BTFE alone, but I know they are everywhere on these products! I am very excited too that I was able to get several more Wanchai Ferry dinners, YUM!

How do you get all the free home mailers??

Some home mailers come from BzzAgent(Pillsbury Cinn rolls), some from emailing praises or complaints to the participating company and some come from MyBlogSpark(Wanchai Ferry).
I would highly recommend contacting the companies of products you like and let them know. Some will send free or high value coupons! Companies LOVE to get feedback from their customers.

Stephanie, have you noticed your Kroger only doubling/tripling one like coupon? The Kroger's at Richey and Queens isn't even aware that the computers are set that way...
