Randalls - HOT Deal on Olive Oil, Free Greeting cards and reusable bags too

There is a SUPER hot deal on olive oil right now at Randall's and Safeway stores.
The BIG 25.4 oz bottles are regularly $10.49 each, but this week they are on sale buy 1 get 1 free.  Add to that the in store ad or the loadable J4U store coupon and they become $4.99 for 2, limit 2 ($4.99 each with coupon, but 1 becomes free due to bogo sale)
If you print this $1 coupon as well, you will get 2 bottles for just $3.99.  I loaded the $4.99 AND used the in ad coupon so I could get 4 in one transaction.
(Thanks Lauren for the heads up!)

Other deals I got while there:
My J4U had a loadable for a resuable shopping bag free.  I did have to ask at my store because they didn't have any out, but I got my bag :D

Angel Soft 4 pack $0.99
Use .25 printable
$0.24 after first coupon triples

Hallmark Cards @ 1.99 each
Buy 3 get $5 oynso catalina
Use $2/3 printable
Pay $3.97 at register but get $5 oynso back for a small MM

Baby Carrots $0.99
Use $0.50 printable (or actual if you can find the Fresh Idea books at your Randalls)
Free after first coupon doubles

Lucerne Milk (1 gal) on sale for $2.50 today

Dial hand soap $0.99
Use .35 coupon from 4/28 Red Plum insert
Free after first coupon triples

Yakisoba $0.99
Use .50/1 coupon from 2/10 Smart Source insert

I was in a hurry so might see more when I hit another store with the girlies.

Thanks Stephanie for posting - I wasn't planning on a trip to Tom Thumb, but I am just about out of EVOO, so I guess I'll be shopping there this weekend after all!

And I was pleasantly surprised to find a $5/$20 eQ in addition to my Filippo Berio pricing deal!

Since it now looks like I'll be getting four bottles as well, I guess I'll have to pay attention to the expiration dates!

I just got back from Randalls (Sat, Apr 27) and my olive oil did not ring up buy1/get1 free. I got the same bottle you show in the pic. My store (Holcombe at Buffalo) did not have the bogo sale hang tag on the shelf so they would not adjust the price. I ended up paying nine bucks for two bottles. Do you know if the bogo is advertised anywhere else?

In Dallas, Tom Thumb didn't have BOGO signage out. Anyone try this here without it??? Thanks!

Yeah, the olive oil wasn't like that at my TT store here in Dallas, either.

Picture was taken at Randalls in SL on Williams Trace on the day I posted this. Tag reflected end date of May 7th for the bogo but I was there yesterday with my kiddos and it seems the tags have been changed now to $6.xx. Not sure if they realized it was too good a deal and changed it or why, but still not a bad deal for $3.99 for 1 after coupon (.16 an oz which is a buy price for me)
