I dont see the Aqua Pods in the ad, so are they part of the $5 deal when you buy 10? I noticed on your first round you bought 20 aquapods and got only $5 mega deal off, why not $10?
On the Warm delights, how many can you buy per visit?
Anon, the Aquapods are marked in the store and are part of the sale. Often not all products are pictured in the ad for these big promotions. I broke my transactions up and got the $5 off for each set of 10 items. The Warm Delights are in a special display in the store that say free with card and will give you a free one per transaction. I hope this helps.

If the coupons bar code starts with a 5 as the furthest number to the left, then the register will automatically double it regardless of the wording. The cashier can intervene and override this, but they rarely do.

How did you get the 10% on your Randalls card? Is it from shopping at Randalls on a regular basis and spending a certain amount during a promotional period? Or is it from opening a new Randalls card?
I haven't shopped at Randalls for awhile but I went here in sw Houston after I read about the Ozarka Aquapods deal. I got the price, and catalinas as described in your blog but no 10% off when I used my Randalls card. And no produce peelie on the packages of Ozarka, maybe I'll get lucky and find the special packages before the sale is over.

Anon, during grand openings and re-grand openings, Randalls gives out some really great promotions and coupons. I was fortunate to be given the savings of 10% off all my purchases through May 6.

they are doing another mega deal this week at Randalls. Do you know if the aquapods catalina deal will work these week? I tried going yesterday on my lunch break and my Randalls was totally sold out of the aquapods. I even had them check in the back, i was so dissapointed!!!
Anon, the mix and match deal is still going on at Randalls, however the Aquapod catalina ended yesterday. Still a decent deal without the catalina(if you have coupons and buy 10 participating products)

Ok, one more thing! All that suave bodywash you got. I had coupons too but they said for 18 oz or higher and the suave on sale was for 12 oz. Did you use the 18 oz coupons?

I am in Katy too and I have been to several Randalls and I can not find the Aquapods anywhere on the west side of town.

Yeah, I think it is hard to get good deals in Katy as we have so many savvy shoppers here. I should have known to skip over the ones in Katy.. congrats on all the good deals. I love your blog and visit it a few times a week.

I just went to Randall's to buy 10 items at 75 cents each. But it rings up at a $1.25 THEN they take off the $5 which makes the item 75 cents. I THOUGHT they were 75 cents each then the $5 was off that. Is this how your Randall's did? I am confused!!

Yes, these mega deals can get confusing. The Randalls tag should show you the price before promo and the price after promo. The .75, as you learned, is the price AFTER the $5 has been taken off.

Update from Katy - I finally found the Aquapods! They only had 8 left when I went and bought them up. I felt sort of bad doing it because I know a lot of people are looking for them, but I couldn't pass it up! I went to soooo many stores looking for them, so I felt I earned them. I am sure Randalls will be restocked shortly though.
