So many Expired Coupons!

I cleaned out my binders and coupon box at the end of April and this is what my expireds look like most month ends. That stack of whole insert pages is about 6 inches tall, and the lose coupons are what came out of my binders.
You are probably asking what I do with all these coupons now that I cannot use them. Well, that is where my good friend Kim comes to the rescue! Kim told me about a local Methodist church in Katy that has adopted a military base in Germany.
Our troops overseas can use expired coupons at their Military Commissaries for up to 6 month past the expiration date. However, they have limited means of getting coupons so this is where http://www.ocpnet.org/ comes to the rescue. This is a patriotic charity run by volunteers to help get these coupons to our troops. Every little bit helps them stretch their salaries even further.
On the ocp website, you can even see the total $ amounts donated by individuals and organizations. If you do not want to foot the cost of mailing these out yourself, consider looking for a local organization that you can give your expireds to!
Holy Covenant Methodist Church is the one I contribute to and they clip and categorize the coupons: food - nonfood - pet food - cleaning supplies and total the value of the coupons they send over.
My friend Kim informed me they used to have donations of about $3000/month, but with my most recent contributions, that has increased to $11,ooo! That is alot of savings potential for the families of the brave men and women fighting to maintain our freedom.

For North Houston area, Doss Park near Veterans Memorial on Frick Rd, has a coupon donation group too. Already cut out coupons are even better.

Is there an address that I could mail my old ones to the church? Should they be sent to someones attention? I live on the complete opposite side of Houston from you and can find no one in our area doing this. We are a military family and would love to support this.
