Box Tops For Education

This is just a reminder post to the importance of Box tops for education. These little pieces of paper earn participating schools .10 each! If you don't have a participating school, these make GREAT trading stock on websites like hotcouponworld. I have already earned $173 for my dd school just collecting mine and my extended families box tops. These really do add up. To review a list of participating items, please visit http://www.boxtopsforeducation.com/, these easily trade for .05 or 1-4-1 with coupons on most trading sites!

CVS Thanksgiving Run

I hit a couple CVS stores today for their freebies. I used my overage from my coupons to get some items I needed anyway. Keep in mind, I use 3 CVS cards(I shop for 4 households but I get to keep the overage items for my trouble). I got the following items: 6 Aussie hair care items, 6 Playtex tampons, 6 Gatorade G2, 3 Cover Girl Makeup, 2 Garnier face cleaners, 1 set of head phones, 4 Colgate toothpaste, 1 Bic Soleil razor, 1 Schick Titanium, 1 J&J Softlotion, 1 Sallie Hansen nail polish, 1 King size Reeses, 2 boxes Honey Bunches of Oats, 1 jar Jelly, 2 Reeses pieces, 7 bags Cheetos, 1 Tropicana Orange Juice, 2 20 oz cokes, 1 AJ syrup and 1 gallon of milk.
This all cost me $1.30 on a gift card(from getting prescription filled) and $125.88 in ecbs. I earned back $130.17 in ecbs so overall came home with a profit of $2.99 in CVS money! This was done in 7 transactions. I will be happy to share the coupons I used to get these deals. Feel free to email me for details! And more importantly: GO GET YOUR FREEBIES!!!!!!!!
Make some money as there are coupons out right now that make the Aussie, Cover Girl, Garnier, Colgate, Bic, Schick and Sallie Hansen PROFIT items. Use these to get the stuff you NEED for your family like milk, eggs, orange juice etc!

Quick cvs trip

I needed milk and bread this week so I hopped over to CVS after work. This week they have Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation for $8.99 and earns $8.99 in ecbs, so free. I had $3 off coupons for each one and I already had a $9.99 and a $6.98 ecb. So the math looks like this:
Maybelline $8.99 * 2 = 17.98 - 3*2 ($3 coupons) = $11.98
Since I had 9.99 + 6.98 in ecbs, I needed to purchase 16.97 worth of stuff, so less the makeup:
$16.97 - 11.98 = $4.99 of fillers, or more important, the stuff I actually NEEDED.
The milk was $2.89 and the bread $2.59. So my total after all my coupons and ecbs was .49 out of pocket but I earned $17.98 back in ecbs. So really came out ahead on this!

We FINALLY have a date/time/place for our next class! Saturday, November 15th

We were finally able to find a place to hold our next class. The next class will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The location is the Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Copperfield.

Due to the time it takes to not only put the class on but to also prepare material we will no longer offer the classes for free. We will however be making a donation to the Church out of the funds collected to help cover usage fees. In addition to getting two hours of valuable information on how you can best utilize coupons, each student will also receive coupons and products from us, plus unlimited email support for life!

Because space is limited and on a first come first enter basis we are offering the option of paying online to reserve your spot. This insures you will have a spot the day of the class no matter how many people show up. The two options of payment are Revolution Money Exchange and Paypal. You can sign up then click the buttons on the bottom of the form to make your payments.

The fee will be $20 at the door and $15 online. Again we encourage online payment to reserve your spot. No children are permitted in the class. Babysitting will be provided by the church for a fee of $5 per family online or $8 at the door.

When paying online, please make sure you fill out the form below along with the payment button at the bottom. Scroll all the way down form for all options.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PREPAYMENT MUST BE DONE BEFORE MIDNIGHT NOVEMBER 14TH. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON PREPAYING TO SAVE $5 PLEASE DO SO BEFORE THEN!

Save $5 off $20 at Walgreens

Valid in Walgreens stores on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15, 2008 only, during regular store hours. Excludes alcohol, postage stamps, tobacco, prescriptions, prescription copays, gift cards, pre-paid cards, transportation passes, charitable contributions, Prescription Savings Club membership and items prohibited by law. Purchase amount of $20 or more must be before taxes and after all manufacturer and Walgreens coupons and discounts. Limit one coupon per customer per offer. Cash value 1/100¢. No cash back.
The best thing about these coupons is that you can use them to buy Walgreens Free after rebate items to actually MAKE MONEY!
Right now Walgreens has L'oreal Age Perfect Pro-Calcium Radiance Perfector $19.99, free after rebate. Use a $1 coupon off any Loreal Age Perfect product, add in another item for at least $1.01 and you can use the coupon.
You will pay about $15 (depending on the filler items cost) and submit the rebate. If you opt for the Walgreens gift card, you will get back 10% more , so 19.99 + 10% = $22! I usually use these offers to buy milk and eggs since it is harder to find coupons for those items!

Free Razors and Gum

Depending on what Walgreens you go to, you can either get free gum and razors or cheap gum and razors. They all do their coupons different.

The razors are on sale for $5.99. I used BOGO coupons plus the $3 off coupon in the November Walgreens book. If the stores take the BOGO coupon first and counts the price as $5.99, which it is, then takes the $3 Walgreens coupon off next you will get them for free. If they take the $3 Walgreens coupon first and mark the BOGO as $2.99, then you will still pay $2.99 for one razor and get the other free.

Same with the gum, if the store will allow both the mfg BOGO coupon and the store ad BOGO coupon you get them for free. Otherwise you will get one free and pay half price for the second.

We drove all over Houston yesterday so were able to hit many Walgreens on our trip so as not to wipe out any stores.
