Randalls - Some cheap ibotta offers and the Teamwork Bonus

I will be the first to admit I am not 100% sure how they determine who is on your team for the Teamwork Bonus, but it seems like if the person is somehow linked to you on facebook, they are on your team.
Maybe those that sign up under each other share a team, I really am not sure (how many are on your team?)

There are multiple levels of bonuses you and your teammates can earn.  From what I have learned given the bonuses I earned there are 2 qualifiers to score your bonus
1. your team has to earn the threshold limit for that bonus $ wise
2. you have to redeem the number of offers required to score your bonus.  This second one is the tricky one and you definitely want to look in your bonus section cause just today, I noticed my teammates had already score the $ threshold limit and all I had to do is redeem 5 offers within the month to scoot to the next bonus level.  So, that is what I did.

I noticed my Reddi Wip had reset even after I already got one free last week, so I went and scored another one.  This is how my total panned out

Safeway Waffles $1.69
Redeem $1 ibotta
$0.69 after rebate

Safeway Cinnamon Rolls $1.79
Redeem $1 ibotta
$0.79 after rebate

Safeway Toaster Strudels $1.79 with J4U loadable coupo (savings of .19 off shelf price)
 Redeem $1 ibotta
$0.79 after rebate

Brown and Serve Sausage Links $1.67
Redeem $1 ibotta
$0.67 after rebate

Reddi Wip Whipped Cream $2 with in ad coupon
Use $1 printable
Redeem $1 ibotta
Free after rebate

So after my $5 ibotta rebates, my total cost was $2.94 and I earned my $2 bonus for a final cost of $0.94 for all 5 items

*Level 1 is redeem 2 rebates and team earns $10 - Bonus $1
*Level 2 is redeem 5 more rebates and team earns $30 more in offers- Bonus $2
*Level 3 is redeem 10 more rebates and team earns $50 more in offers - Bonus $7

It might sound like a lot but if you have just 6 active friends, you can all do the ones listed above and score the $30 level that quick!!!

Hurry though as many of the Randalls offers expire end of day tomorrow.
Some of you might have me on your team so you might already have the earnings part but now just need to get out there and redeem some offers for FREE money!
(for example, if you are on my team and so the $10 has been reached, redeem two offers and it is like adding .50 to each offer, level 2 is adding .40 to each offer and level 3 is like adding .70 to each offer)

What level bonus are you on and how many friends does it say you have?  I would love to hear how my readers are doing on this as I LOVE ibotta!

Back to Nature Mac N Cheese cups

I have a print out from CouponNetwork Mac and Cheese Dinner boxes or Microwave Cups, which is as follows:
Purchase 2 packages in a single transaction and get $1 oynso
Valid dates are 4/22 - 6/16/13

Right now Randalls has them on sale for $1.  Purchase 2 and pay just $0.50 each after catalina.
This is a GREAT price for these as they have no artificial preservatives or flavors :D

Randalls - Hot Find today

Today, I spent the day with the wonderfully nice folks at Randalls learning all about their new program Just for U.  While I will be doing a more detailed post on that later, I wanted to highlight something else I learned while there, surely by happenstance.
Part of your event today involved Randalls bussing us bloggers over to the beautiful Randalls store located at Westheimer and Gessner to shop and test out the Just for U (again I will be doing an extensive post on that later).  So naturally, upon walking in, I grabbed an ad just in case there is a coupon in the ad that I might be needing for my shopping quest.  Right away I noticed a HUGE difference with this ad versus my ad:
On the left is the image I noticed in the ad at this store, vs the ad in my store I shop in Sugar Land.  WOW!!! I knew there were differences in meat and produce prices based on region but had NO clue it could easily be $1 difference!  Naturally I picked up some ground beef while there, how could I NOT for that price!?

While this does end today, it is a good idea to check some other ads around you as I have just been told by two others that their ads in Katy ALSO had this $1.99/lb price for the 93% lean beef, WOW! (S Mason and S Fry locations.)  So, if you have a daily path with your commute or errands, you might want to check the ad online for stores you will be passing, it might just save you an extra buck or two :D

Randalls Introducing Just for U Savings in TX!!!!!

I am so excited that Randalls is finally bringing the Just for U program to Texas.  I have read about this program for some time now on the various coupon forums and have really been sad it was not offered in our region.  Well it is now officially on the Randalls website, YAY! and it is on the Tom Thumb site now as well for those of you near Dallas.

So what exactly is the just for u program?
Just for U is loadable coupon program that doesn't just offer up generic coupons for the mass public  Many of the coupons and personalized offers are based on your shopping history on your club card.   You just need to start here  (or here for Tom Thumb shoppers) and link your card to the just for u program and add the deals you want to your card before shopping.  They even plan to have a computer and printer at the service desk of each store for your convenience AND there are phone apps for you smart phone owners.
There are 3 different components to the just for u program.
The first, is the personalized deals.  These are offers just for u based on your shopping history with the store. These are unlimited offers and will be good for up to 90 days!  That means you can save each time you purchase that product during the offer dates.
An example for me right now is Cheetos.  I have a personalized offer price of $1.86 through tomorrow. AND I can even use coupons on top of this personalized price for added savings.

Next is the coupon center.  Here is where you can load digital coupons for money off various products.  Now some of these offers are for $ money off an item while others are just discounted prices.
Notice how the top is just a .40 off Fiber One bars and the bottom one shows special pricing of $3.49 for Pantene etc.  In this scenario, I cannot use a paper coupon on top of the Fiber One coupon, but I could combine the bottom offer with a coupon.  (If I load the Fiber One coupon and decide to use a paper coupon that will double, the register will just take the ecoupon discount off my receipt - more on this later).
The offers in this section are one time use only up to their expiration dates.

The third component is the club card specials.  This will list for you the club specials on products you regularly buy.  These are updated weekly and sorted by aisle.  This is a quick way to find the price of that item for the week without sorting through the ad.

Once you add the savings you want from the personalized offers and coupon center, you can choose to print the list to take with you to the store, or you can email it to yourself to pull up on your smartphone while in store.

The one thing I truly love about the loadable coupons with Randalls is, unlike Kroger, you are not punished by having them on your card.  If you load an offer but then later have a better paper coupon you would rather use, you simply hand over your paper coupon and the register will just remove the ecoupon discount from that order.
Example from above.  Let's say I loaded the Fiber One bars coupon for .40 cents off which will not double(loadable coupons NEVER double).  Well, lets say I find a paper coupon for .40/1 that will double so obviously I would rather use that one, right?  So I ring up and notice the .40 ecoupon come of my balance.  When I hand over the paper coupon, it will take off two lines of .40 on my total(since it doubles) but then add back the .40 ecoupon savings like it was never there!  BUT the ecoupon will be there next time if I want to purchase the item.  Pretty cool that they have the programming to not punish me for loading a coupon that might later not be as good as I thought :D

So, head here (or here for Tom Thumb shoppers) and sign your card up and start checking out the savings.  As you can see from my examples above I have a few that expire tomorrow so I will probably log back in on Wednesday to see what new coupons and savings they have to offer me.

Check it out and please post any questions you may want answered by Safeway on this blog post.  I will be meeting with the folks of Safeway about this program next week and I want to bring all the questions my readers have to ask while I have a captive audience :D

Randalls - A few good deals I found today - Post Pebbles Cereal for about .50 a box!

How would you like to get Post Pebbles cereal for about $0.50 a box!
That is a smokin price, especially for Pebbles cereal

Right now, Randalls has the Post Pebbles cereal on sale for $1.88.
There is also a catalina promo going on through mid July.
Buy 3 get $2, Buy 4 get $3 or Buy 5 get $4 On your next shopping order

There is a $1/2 printable coupon here as well as .55 insert coupons in the 6/10 inserts.  (Please note the insert coupons have a limit of 4 like coupons per transaction)
I purchased 5 and used 3 .55 inserts and 1 $1/2 printable, so it looked something like this:
5 Pebbles cereals $1.88 each = $9.40
-3 x .55 coupons
-1 - $1/2 printable
= $6.75 and earned $4 oynso
=$2.75 or .55 a box

Then, I did a second transaction to roll the catalina
4 Pebbles = $7.52
-4 - .55 insert coupons
-$4.33 - $4 cat(took off tax even though cereal is non-taxable)
=.99 oop and got $3 oynso back
(essentially cost was 1.99/4 boxes or .50 a box!)
SWEET!!!!!!

A few other items I noticed on sale while there
Dial handsoap is .99 again, so free with .35 insert coupon tripled

Carefree are .99 again, so free with .50 insert coupon doubled (expires Saturday!)

Gold Peak tea $1, so free if you printed the .50 printable doubled

Also (not pictured) but if you were selected for the Sobe Bzzagent, they are $1 so free with the .50 homemailers.

And finally:
If you printed the $1 OM Selects coupon, you can get the Turkey dogs for .29 each.

Thanks SD for the heads up on the Pebbles :D

Potential Cheap MorningStar Farm products - Randalls

Wow! There might be a potential for some cheap Morningstar Farm products for remainder of the second quarter. This catalina promotional offer was just received by a poster on SD. I have not had a chance to check up on this to see if this is an exclusive offer or if it is even being offered in our region. If it is, wow! Combine the $2 earned with the $1 IP here and you can get yourself some pretty cheap Morningstar Farms. I won't be able to check it until tomorrow, but you might want to print the coupon today while available. Thanks for the heads up SD.

Haribo Gummies - .35 at Randalls (Tom Thumb)

$0.30 off 4 oz. or larger HARIBO product
Have you printed the Haribo coupon yet? If not, and you are a fan, you might want to print and take to Randalls on your next shopping trip. The Haribo is currently $1.25 so after coupon triples, you will pay just .35 for the package (one like coupon will double per transaction) This would be a great addition to boost your total to try for the $10 catalina when you spend $75 in a single transaction. I will be posting my matchups for Randalls a bit later as it got too late last night to finish all my matchups.
