Since I had to take my daughter to the dr, I decided to stop by Kroger before taking here back to school(it is across the street). My mom wanted me to pick up some Hunts tomatoes for a stew she makes every year. I wasn't sure exactly what my total was going to be, but wanted to burn some coupons anyway.
Please recall that my Kroger will double 3 like coupons up to .50 and triple 3 like coupons up to .39
Here is my breakdown:
3 Goldfish 1.38 each - .75 IP = $1.89 (one not pictured as dd tore into the bag!)
6 Pedigree dog food $1 each - bogo coupons 1-3 RP = $3 (not pictured, sister took them)
1 Chex Mix $1.99 - .50 cellfire - .50 IP =.49
3 Quaker Quakes $1 each - .75 insert 1-10 RP = .75
3 Rotel .90 each - .30 insert 1-24 RP =FREE
4 Hunts tomatoes .95 each - $1/4 blinkie = $2.80

3 Suave deodorant $1 - .50 insert 1-31 RP(these beep) = FREE
3 Sani Hands $1 - $1 insert 4-19 SS= FREE

4 Pillsbury sweet rolls $1.59 each - 2 $1 cellfire - .40/2 IP= 2.76
2 Pillsbury Grand Jrs .99 each - .30/2 insert (coupon beeped) = 1.08
Grapes $1.57
Tax: -.87
Cost oop : $3.50 and earned $4 catalina from Pillsbury items
Will give my mom the receipt with for the Rotel rebate posted about here since she is getting the tomatoes too.
On my way home, I realized I really wanted tacos for dinner and I was all out of tomatoes and lettuce. I stopped at another Kroger to get some.
This is what I did:
3 Quaker Quakes $1 each - .75 insert 1-10 RP= 1.50*
3 Rotel .90 each - .30 insert 1-24 RP =FREE
4 Hunts tomatoes .95 each - $1/4 blinkie = $2.80

very disappointed in Kroger this past week...the other day went to do multiple transactions w/ sis-in-law for the mega deals (since our Kroger won't accept more than 3 like coupons) - cashier gave a hard time about doing multiple transactions - I had her call mgr and he argued w/ me about it but finally I won and he said it was just this time he would let me..I told him I'd be back later to do more LOL and calling corp. Anyways, then today I noticed Bic Soilel razors BOGO, and there's a BOGO coupon in an insert from a few wks back - so 2 free right?? WRONG! cashier called mgr and this time a different guy came and argued w/ me about how I had to buy one, and I tried explaining to him, but didn't get through so I left the razors. Any advice on this?
oh yeah forgot to mention how rude they were the other day, the mgr had nerve to ask if my sis-in-law and I lived together b/c the rule is only 3 coupons per household...I told him that was none of his business and anyways she has her own store card and basket of groceries!! It shouldn't matter and he was totally out of line! They just didn't like both of us using coupons and taking a ton of items!
