Kroger Mega deal run to finish up!

I wanted to just be done with the mega sale at Kroger so I went out today and finished up my coupons. I got 50 participating mega items and 12 non mega items.
Please recall my store doubles 3 like coupons up to .50 and triples 3 like coupons up to .39
Here is my breakdown:
10 Tidy Cat Litter(not pictured) $1.99 each - $1 insert 2-7 RP = $9.90
8 I Can't Believe It's Not Butter $1.49 each - 3 .50 insert 11-18 RP - 5 $1 IP(no longer available)= $3.92
3 Goldfish $1.38 each - .75 IP = $1.89
1 Rotel .90 - .30 insert 1-24 RP(Houston didn't get this one)= FREE
2 Sobe Lifewater $1 each - bogo IP (cashier took off $1.59) = $0.41
2 Quaker Quakes $1 each - .75 insert 1-10 RP= .50
24 Hunts tomatoes .95 each - $1/4 blinkies = $16.80
-5 $5 mega deal

Non mega items:
2 Coffeemate creamers $1 each - $.50 insert 2-7 RP = FREE
6 Pillsbury Grands Jr .99 each - .35/3 insert 2-7SS = $3.84
1 Diet DP 20 oz (not pictured) $1.39
2 Sani hands $1 each - 1 insert 4-19SS = FREE
1 Suave deodorant $1 - .50 insert 1-31 RP = FREE
-$4 oynso from prior Pillsbury cat
Tax: -1.08
Cost oop: $8.57 and earned another $4 oynso catalina on the Pillsbury
Will use receipt for last $6 Rotel rebate.

So final tally will be $8.57 + .44 stamp - $6 = $3.01

Walgreens run 2-7

Nothing too exciting I see at Walgreens, but I was excited about the CHEAP (after RR) deal on Children's Motrin.
Here is what I did:
2 Children's Motrin $ 3.99 each - $4/2 booklet(found at Randalls) = $3.98
1 Dove mens body wash $5.99 - $1.25 insert(there is a $1.50 IP here) = $4.74
3 Disney activity books 3/$1 with in ad coupon
-$9 in register rewards
Cost oop : .72
Earned back $3 for Motrin and $6 for Dove bodywash.

Target is really keeping UP to date!!!

I have to admit I was "suprised" (for lack of a better word) today when shopping at Randalls. As I was walking into the store, there were 3 kids that could not have been older than Jr High age(maybe they call it Middle School now??) and I think one actually had an IPhone!!!!

Anyway, this post is not about that (though I am jealous and wish I had that kid's parents, lol).
Target has decided to REALLY join the information age. You can now sign up at their website for weekly text alerts. Target will actually send you coupons via text message that you can take to the registers. I have to say I am really excited about this since I just added an unlimited text message plan!
Here is the exact wording on the website:
Mobile Coupons
Get your monthly offers via text message with a link to a barcode that can be
scanned at checkout. The same barcode can be used for multiple one-time-
only coupon deals throughout the month. Offers always arrive on a Sunday.

I just signed up and you can select the time you want the text to come on Sunday so it won't wake you up, lol.
Just go here and sign up! I am excited to see how well this works!

ETA: I just got my first text from Target saying up to 5 messages/month, and then I got three nineteen FIFTY-TWO(and counting it seems!) followups telling me I already signed up so I am not sure if this is going to be worth it for those without an unlimited text package. Guess we will have to wait and see if the coupons are any good first.
