FREE Science Diet Dog Food - Possible Money Maker!!! WOWSERS!

Have I gotten your attention yet?  Who doesn't want free dog food?  More importantly who wants premium FREE dog food?
Petsmart is having a President's Day weekend sale and today through Monday only, they are offering ALL varieties of their 4 lb bags of dog food for $5 (limited to quantity in stock so no rainchecks on these guys!)

Well, lucky for us, this happens to coincide with a $5 off any Science Diet Light dog food coupon from our inserts 1-9SS.  They have 3 varieties of the light dog food, so you stand a pretty good chance of finding a few bags!
You can also sign up here to hopefully print a $5 off ANY variety coupon if you don't want the light. (I signed up for this when I adopted my kitty so not sure if the offer is the same??? You should also get a rebate when sigining up for this, possibly turning this into a MONEY MAKER, so keep your receipt and upcs just in case)

Kroger Daytona Event - Finally HERE!!!!!

Wow!!! I am having loads of fun with the Kroger Daytona deal. This one is unique as they are offering a special perk. In Daytona sale history, it has been buy 10 participating items and get $3 off instantly (.30 savings per item)
Well, this year, Kroger has decided to not only give us the $3 instant savings BUT to also sweeten the pot and give us a $3 oynso catalina. WOW
Essentially, this means .60 savings on each product even before you throw in the coupon. The only real drawback I have seen, is that you can only pay with one of these $3 oynso catalinas at a time. However, you can EARN limitless per transaction!  HOT DOG!

So, this post I am gonna try something slightly different and let me know what you think of the way I do these matchups.  Good or bad, your feedback will help me know if my logic makes sense to others.

CVS - Great deal on Head And Shoulders and Pantene YMMV

Super excited about a run to CVS today! I found two types of Head and Shoulders clearanced for $1.24 each. I was excited since we have $1 coupons from the P&G insert and this is the only shampoo my husband uses.
Well, imagine my suprise when I found 6 at one store and noticed it was tallying at the bottom for the advertised ECBs this week (Buy $10 worth get $3 oynso).
I decided to make a second transaction and pay full price for one bottle since I was only 2.56 away from the $3 and I rarely find deals for H&S.
When I went back to grab the full price bottle I noticed Pantene also on clearance so I thought I would test the ECB deal on that one too and it worked! Woo Hoo.
The Pantenes were $1.24 each as well and I had a home mailer for $2/2 so a small MM.

This is what I did :

6 H&S $1.24 each - $1 insert P&G = 1.44
-$1 ECB
Paid .44 oop

1 H&S $4.99 - $1 insert P&G = $3.99
2 Pantene $1.24 each - $2/2 = .48
-$4 ecb
Paid .48 oop

Got back $3 for the H&S and $1 for the Pantene so total oop:
$1.92 for 7 H&S and 2 Pantene

You can read a write up I did about it here. I think it is rather low maintenance. I just click the sites while waiting in line at the registers, scan products as I am doing my regular shopping and just click all the check in bonuses daily at home, then at work, etc. Super easy to rack up points quickly! And, if you enter code silver8925 within 24 hours of signing up, they will start you off with 50 points!

I think I am gonna check online prices for the AE jeans to see if a stop at the mall is on my list today.......

Cellfire Promotion TuesdayThursday Feb. 17th

Cellfire is really testing our ability to know time zones with this promotion, lol.

Anyway, Cellfire is having a promotion tomorrow for all you folks with Kroger (or affiliate stores).  Just log into Cellfire between 5 am and 8 pm CST (finally a long enough window they might actually be able to handle the traffic!). and see if you have won a .55 or $2 coupon that will get added to your Kroger card.  Make sure you are registered with your card and this should help you save a little extra with the Daytona sale going on!

Facebook - Your attention NEEDED

If you have been on facebook recently and noticed you are not getting as many peoples status updates as you are used to seeing, there is a reason for that.   Facebook has changed its News Feed so that by default you can only see updates from people you have recently interacted with! So if you have not responded or posted to a friends page recently, you will not see their page on your updates.  To change this click the arrow next to 'most recent' then "edit options" and check the box to receive updates from ALL friends.  If you don't do this, you are invisible to some of your friends and they are invisible to you!  This includes all the businesses you have liked in the past!  Make sure you take care of this so you are not missing out.
