Aldi Ad - March 26th - April 1st

Some key things to know about Aldi's before you shop:
*They do not take coupons
*Bring your own bags or boxes for your groceries.  They do not have regular plastic bags but if you forget yours, you can either buy a cloth reusable bag for $1.99 or a plastic one for .10 (these are actually pretty sturdy and I imagine would last for quite some time if you don't abuse them)
*Bring a quarter with you to "rent" the cart.  You get your quarter back when you return the cart to the corral (keeps costs down if they don't have to have someone round up buggies and they pass those savings onto the customer)
*Prepare to pay with cash, debit or EBT - they do not accept any other form of payment, again as a cost saving measure

Organic Baby Carrots ( 1 lb) $1.29

Asparagus (1 lb) $1.19

Mini Sweet Peppers (1 lb) $0.99

Broccoli Crowns (1 lb) $0.99

Blackberries (6 oz) $1.29

Strawberries (1 lb) $1.29

California Navel Oranges (4 lb bag) $2.29

Huntington Home 3 piece bath rug set - one 20"x30" bath rug, one 20"x22"contour rug and one standard lid cover  $12.99

Cheap or Free Heinz after Shopmium - Randalls, possibly others

I was at Randalls today picking up a few items that the sale ends today and while there I checked out the Heinz ketcup because I noticed Shopmium has a $1 cash back offer (read more about Shopmium on my post here describing this app- but to add to that post, I redeemed an offer Sunday that confirmed back this morning so apparantly they are speeding up reimbursement!)

I purchased Simply Heinz 34 oz because I really love that the Simply has minimal additives.  Regular price at Randalls is $2.69
Use the $0.50 printable here that doubles at Randalls
Pay $1.69 after first couple doubles

Then submit your receipt to Shopmium for $1 rebate back making the Simply just $0.69 after coupon and offer.
*If you are not picky the regular Heinz was on sale for $1.99 and regular priced at $2.19 for 20 oz so close to free
Either way I personally thought an awesome deal as I can't get off brand ketchup that cheap unless I stalk and steal from fast food joints(totally kidding here but have to admit we were lazy the other night and got Popeyes and they sent us home with ketchup??????? for fried chicken????? I don't get it but I don't throw out anything so now I have Popeye's ketchup in case of outage here, lol)

FREE Propane!??

OMG!  My wonderful friend Mercy made me aware of this deal and I am soooo glad she did cause I sometimes (OK often lately) don't read all the sales ad.

Well, Walmart has this ad for Blue Rhino (brands CAN vary by location) propane purchase or exchange.  For those that read me you know we use charcoal for grilling BUT my husband is a home brewer so he uses propane regularly for his beer sessions.  I am ALWAYS looking for a cheap deal on propane and we have two tanks (well we DID before his dad just brought him a 100 lb propane tank *sigh) we use for exchange so he always has a full if he runs out mid brewing.

This deal was pretty darn sweet as advertised, BUT there is a coupon and a rebate to add to this.  AND then it got even BETTER!!!!! (is that even possible, especially since I sent my husband to run this deal and that doesn't usually work for us, lol)

So the basic deal if you are doing the exchange
$18.92 advertised in the Walmart ad for the week
Use $3 printable  (zip 73019 OK - this is a direct link so if you don't see it, go here, log in change your profile state to OK and the zip and then come back here and click this preclipped link to confirm coupon is still there)
Pay $15.92 at register
Earn a $10 gift card to Walmart
Redeem for the $3 rebate here
Final price after gift card and rebate should be $2.92  BUT perhaps your store will be as awesome as the one my husband went and worked this offer.
As you can see from the receipt the exchange was ONLY $15.92 NOT the advertised $18.92 (the rest of the receipt I hid due to having the gift card number posted but he paid $12.82 after coupon, got the $10 gift card andI will mail in the $3 rebate!)
FREE PROPANE!!!

Thanks Mercy for the heads up and H2S

For the locals you will notice he went to the Richmond store while he was out there on other business, so good luck :D

CVS - My haul

Since I am down to shopping CVS only about once a week, I don't really have any cool coupons from the magic red box so I have to stick to the main deals.
I was a little disappointed because I had a 20% off discount on my card but my cashier refused to activate it stating that everything I purchased was on sale so it wouldn't work.  I was hoping he would at least let it try because sometimes it will take off for some sale items.

Here is how I worked today's deals:

2 GM cereals $2.50 each
Earn $2 ECB wyb 2
Use $1 coupon from 3/2 SS insert
=$0.50 each after coupon and ECB offer
*there are also several savingstar offers too including one for Cinn Toast Crunch that would make your transaction lower but I used that one last week.

1 Zantac Cool 150 (24 ct) $8.99
Use $4 coupon from 3/23 SS insert
$4.99 after coupon and will mail for try me free rebate in today's paper

Zarbees Seasonal 10 ct $7
Earn $7 ECBS
=FREE after ECBS (this was on my weeklyad online)

Just the Basics papertowels $0.79
Use $0.79 coupon from red machine
Free after coupon

3 All Free and Clear detergent $7.79 buy 1 get 2 free
Use $2/2 coupon from 2/9 RP insert
Use $1 printable
Redeem the $1 Checkout 51 offer on All
=$3.79 or $1.26 each (I was hoping for the 20% with this to make it under $1)

Spent $19.93 between ECB and oop and got back $9 ECB will get $1 from Checkout 51 and hopefully $8.99 in rebate (or at least $4.99 back)

Randalls - My Haul

My main reason for going to Randalls today was to pick up the Family Size triscuits as they are only $2.50 with the J4U loadable.  Combining with the rest of the deals should make them just .50.

Kroger - my haul

I know the mega buy 5 save $5 instantly is going on right now but there was nothing on that sale I really need.  If you need baby wipes though, Huggies wipes would be just $0.49 a pack after coupon and buy 5 offer.  Sorry I have not had a chance to put other items together for this sale but KrogerKrazy usually has a pretty thorough list on her blog.

Anyway, these are the items I picked up
3 Reach toothbrushes $1 each
Cheez it snack crackers $1
2 Driscoll Blackberries $.99 each
10 Pioneer gravy mix manager special of $0.25 each
-3 $1 Reach toothbrush from 1/26 SS
-2 $0.50 Driscoll berry coupons (for filling out survey on previous purchase)
=$4.73 oop

Will earn $1 back from SavingStar for the Cheez its (ends tonight!)
$3.73 final cost and will now have 2 new codes for 4 new Driscoll coupons

Aldi Ad - March 19th - 25th

Pears (2 lb bag) $0.99

Blackberries (6 oz) $0.99

Strawberries (1 lb) $1.29

Blueberries (6 oz) $1.49
