Sweet Cheese Deal at Randalls - Ends tomorrow

I was at Randalls today getting more free greeting cards and walked the store to see if I could find any other note worthy deals.  I personally think this one is pretty note worthy.

Through April 30th, Randalls has Lucerne block cheese on sale for $2.99, buy 2 get 1 free.  In addition to that, they have a promo for $2 off when you spend $10 on Lucerne products(excluding gallon milk).

There are 3 varieties of the block cheese at my store that have the Real California cheese logo (Sharp Cheddar, Mild Cheddar and Monterrey Jack)  If you buy at least 4 of those varieties, you can use the $.35 printable coupon here.   This is how my transaction played out:

6 Lucerne block cheese @ $2.99 each = $17.94
-$5.98 instantly with the buy 2 get 1 free sale
-$2 instantly for the spend $10 get $2 off sale
=$9.96
-4 .35 printable coupons (for some strange reason ALL 4 tripled!???) thus -$4.20 in coupons
$5.76 oop or $.0.96 for each 8 oz of cheese :D

Whoop!

Chick Fil A - Adding 3 new AWESOME salads - oh and a giveaway too.....

While I have had no tumbling training, I imagined myself doing back handsprings when I watched the video showing the new salad line up at Chick Fil A.  I am already in love with that place, including their Southwest Chargrilled Chicken Salad and now I get this news!
OMG! That Grilled Market Salad looks yummy!!!! (Well all of them look yummy to me to be honest)
April 29th Chick fil A restaurants are getting a makeover. Three new salads in their line up, one improved Chicken Cool Wrap and a new menu boards nationally with calorie counts added.  There is also an online meal calculator, in-restaurant nutrition pamplets and even nutrional information printed from the register upon request.  I love that they are making it so simple to have all this info for those apps that might not be caught up and updated with all this info.

I have to admit, my husband has a horrible late night on April 28th and I know he will have zero interest in getting up with me at 5:30 am to make my lunch so lucky me, I have an excuse to try one of these new salads right off.  And lucky me, he doesn't always read the blog so I can even play it up that it is a hardship that I have to go out to eat, lol (don't tell on me! I want to try that Grilled Market Salad!)

So now for the goodies for you guys!  How about a chance to try ALL 3 new salads for FREE????
I have been given 5 digital cards for a free salad(of your choice) each month from May-July!
That is 3 salads for each card.  You can choose 3 different or all the same, it doesn't matter.  The card doesn't care.  You get one free in May, one free in June and one free in July, regardless of the variety of salad you pick!

I am giving away 4 on this post and I will give the 5th away as a surprise giveaway that I will decide soon.

So, to get an entry in this giveaway, here are your rules*
*I have been lenient before on rules but if you don't answer all 3  both questions your entry will be void and not published(you don't have to answer all 3 both correct, but I will void any entries that don't attempt to answer all 3 both)
Also, if you have no identifying marks on your comment, it will not be published- ie if you post as anon, please sign with a name so I can identify you from others( I don't discourage anon posts as I know you don't want to sign up for every little thing but please sign with a first name and last initial otherwise you are truly anon and anyone could claim your prize hence the reason I kick those out!:

1. 1 entry per person (please don't cheat, no one likes cheaters :D)
Now the questions!
2. Watch the video and let me know what salad you would be interested in trying first
3. Who founded Chick Fil A?

Disclosure: I was given 5 cards for 3 free salads each of which I will be giving away.  I received no other compensation for this post and no requests were made to requirements of entry or otherwise, all opinions and entry requests are my own and not requests of any 3rd party. I honestly truly have always loved Chick Fil A and am sad on Sundays because of their closures (but respect their reasons for doing so).

Good luck and I am jealous of you all :D
Entries close at 5 ish on May 3rd.

*one more note, you HAVE to post to this post, not facebook, not my email, not text message, well you get it.  post here to be considered and no just knowing me in real life does not mean anything, free Chick Fil A is serious business!
**Rosanna won a bonus entry for noting my first bullet point was not a question (see what happens when I blog while in charge of my kids, lol)

Randalls - HOT Deal on Olive Oil, Free Greeting cards and reusable bags too

There is a SUPER hot deal on olive oil right now at Randall's and Safeway stores.

Endorse Has Reset

Today is Thursday which means endorse has reset their offers.

As I have noted before, offers vary among users, sometimes just alternating weeks.
Be sure to check your account because I just got offered*

100% cash back on coffee (up to $3) and
100% cash back on pop chips (up to $3.49)

In addition to those, I got up to 50% back for Planters Nut-rition Peanut butter which is already a money maker at Walgreens after register reward and coupon!

*Just note, endorse (use link again) will subtract any and ALL store rewards you have used that are reflected on the receipt.  For example, if you buy the peanut butter at Walgreens and pay with points or with a register reward, you will only get paid the percentage they reflect oop spend.  I got burned on this using Rx money at Kroger so be sure to pay with REAL money and purchase these items on a completely separate receipt so they don’t subtract coupons for other items.

The coffee one makes one free bag of the Community coffee at Kroger (see my matchups here)

Just don't bring them to my house.

Check it out. The M&M's coupon here is good for 50¢ of 2 bags of candy coated awesome. Normally these things go on sale for 50¢ each at Krogers, Randall's, or CVS and 39¢ at Walgreens. So, not bad!

M&M's Coupon

Did you know popsicles were invented by an 11-year old in 1905?

These things often go on sale for $1 a box at Krogers and Randall's. Right now some Randall's have them on closeout for 50% off! This coupon is good for $1 of 2. Math!

All You Magazine Free Subscription - With Recyclebank, takes about 10 mins

WOW!  Recyclebank has added All You magazine to their rewards offerings.  For just 400 points you can get a 1 year subscription.  I love All You because it comes with many high value coupons you cannot get in the regular inserts so this is one magazine I normally pay for a subscription.  I certainly plan on extending my subscription with this offer.
It took me about 10 minutes to earn the 400 points simply by doing the eco time capsule.  Super fast and free, love it!
Want to know more about Recyclebank, read my post here.

There are several other magazines offered as well for various amounts of points, including Martha Stewart Living :D

Free Pepsi Next - And William Levy

Casanova Levy

Ever get the feeling ad companies are running out of ideas of ways to get us to buy stuff? No? Me neither. I don't know who William Levy is, but he's selling Pepsi Next and the good folks at Pepsi would like to give you a coupon for a free drink. Spin the Levy wheel, watch the silly ad, shake your head dumbfounded, then fill out the form for them to send you your coupon!

Don't get hung up and spinning the Levy's though. You might get dizzy.

Kroger Easter Clearance 90% - Look for hidden deals

Another coupon bud was at Kroger today and she scanned some random items she found and turns out they are part of the 90% Easter Clearance but not marked as such.  For example, the Hot Wheels packs above are marked 2 for $3 but I was informed they are ringing up .16 each!
Here are some more items to look for at your stores and have them price checked, you might score a HOT find
  Thanks Courtney for the pictures.

Juice Clearance at HEB and Cheap Gum too - YMMV

My coupon bud was at HEB today and spotted this basket in the back of the store full of clearance juices.  She said the prices range from .84-$1.25 so pretty sweet deal.  She snapped this picture at the Sugar Land store and sent it to me.  I was also at a completely different HEB and found a cart full of juice as well.  There was quite a bit of Santa Cruz Organic at the store I was shopping.

And here is a deal I noticed while waiting my turn at checkouts

Stride Shaun White and Stride Spark is on clearance for $.68 a pack with yellow coupons for .40 off OR you can clip the $1/2 coupon from 4/7 Smart Source insert.

Thanks Maya for the juice information.

Kroger - hmm you think they are worried!

I had the opportunity to get a store tour tonight of the new Sprouts opening in Cypress first thing tomorrow morning (22506 Tomball Parkway).  Afterward, I visited a friend that lived in the area and she was more than happy to show me her ads she got in the mail today.  Her Kroger ad was wrapped in this one page ad with the front clearly posted in the picture and the back showed THEIR in store organic line.  Hmm makes you wonder if they are worried about the new Sprouts.

Oh, and 4 things I was told at Sprouts that I was reallt excited about and stuck with me!
1. They have NO night stockers.  All stocking is done during normal business hours so the employees are available to answer customer question

2. They make a point NOT to number their aisles so when you ask where an item is, they will take you to the item rather than make you hunt and find it yourself.

3. The whole center of the store is low profile meaning no high shelves for employees (or your kids, lol) to hide behind and

4. Most of their produce is not refrigerated or cold on the sales floor because it is geared like a farmers market and product moves so quickly.  They want you to shop like it is a farmers market, making your fresh fruit and veggie purchases throughout the week so you have the freshest product.

Kroger is gonna have to do a whole lot more than CLAIM to have customer service to compete for my grocery dollar now.
