HEB - Great Money Maker on Pantene Deal with P&G promo

I stopped by HEB on my way home as I wanted to try the P&G promo once before the coupons from the last P&G insert expire.  I found there is a pretty sweet Pantene deal that you can actually turn into a good size money maker after catalina and rebate.
Here is what I did :
4 Pantene Shampoo and conditioners $3.67 each
2 Pantene stylers @ $3.74 each
2 Pantene stylers @ $4.67 each
=$31.50

I used
4 bogo coupon for Buy shampoo get styler or conditioner free (up to $4.99) single page flyer from 2/24 paper
-4.17 x 2 and
-3.74 x 2
2 $3/2 coupons from 1/27 P&G insert (these expire TONIGHT)
= $9.68

I earned the $10 oynso of $30 or more for buying $30 worth of P&G items in a single transaction. :D

If you were to do this transaction twice, you would have the $50 in purchases for this $15 rebate.

That would make your oop $9.68 x 2 - $15 in rebates = $4.36 AND you would have 2 coupons for $10 off a $30 shopping order between 3/13 and 3/26!

If you are not able to make it out tonight, the  bogo coupons don't expire for awhile and you can print this $2/2 Pantene coupon, which still makes it an awesome deal!

*Don't forget to keep your receipt and keep your bottles close by for the UPCS to fill out your rebate (RIGHT when you get home - so you won't forget or lose the upc numbers )

*Oops, I did a boo boo. I was in such a hurry I didn't read that the yellow coupons in store are for purchasing the larger bottles of shampoo/conditioner.  You can still do this deal with the insert bogo coupon so I have revised my post so you see the correct coupon to use. I plan on stopping in my store today and explaining my error and having it corrected by giving them the proper coupons.
Thanks Katie for the comment.

Last reminder - Coupons.com free membership expiring

If you signed up for coupons.com free membership back in March when I posted then, you need to decide whether you choose to keep your membership and be charged the full membership fee, or whether you would rather not pay for the difference in coupon values and some offers.(Keep in mind some of you that read me might have signed up in August, so you still have time to use your free membership and I will post reminders for you when the time draws near).

I honestly don't think I have used enough of the member exclusive coupons to warrant the $3/month charge and so I personally am requesting my cancellation today so I will not be billed.  You decide what works best for you :D

Click the Pull down next to your name on the right hand side and select Your Profile

Click the contact support link (hidden under your address information

Walgreens - $20 Money Makers with Double Dip

I had a $5 off $30 Walgreens catalina coupon that was expiring today and did not want it to go to waste.  Problem is, there were not a lot of hot register reward or points deals to get to $30 easily this week.  I also have been hoarding my points earned to use the 40,000 points threshold to gain the bonus $10 in redemption.
I took advantage of the February free after rebate items to get up high enough to turn this into a money maker.  AND I used the fact that the Artic Omega items are $10 next week(my store has already activated sale prices) to turn this into a pretty sweet run.
Here is what I did:

Natural Dentist mouth rinse $4.99
Use $2 printable (must register)
=$2.99 at register but will mail off for $5 rebate

Artic Natural Omega 3 softgels 60 ct $10
Will submit for $15 Wags rebate, ends TONIGHT

Virmax Testosterone boost 30 count $20
Will submit for $20 Wags rebate, ends TONIGHT

Jamieson Joint Care Nem 30 count $20
Will submit for $20 Wags rebate, ends TONIGHT

Used $5 off $30 catalina coupon

4 Nice N Easy hair dye clearanced @ $3.69 each
-$2 coupon from 1/27 P&G insert
$1.69 each
*I had full plans to use these for a P&G rebate but forgot I was already using the receipt for the Natural Dentist rebate, (d'oh!)

Used $4 Register reward and my 40,000 points to pay, with an additional oop of $1.07

So here is how my tally ends up
Since I count the points at the lowest cash back when earning, I consider 40,000 points equal to $40 in cost , but they apply $50 off if you use that many at once, so right away that is like getting $10 free.

So I spent $40 + $4 cat + $1.07 cash = $45.07 realized cost
I will get back :
$5 for mouth rinse
$20 for Joint care
$20 for Virmax
$15 for Omega 3
$5.50 bonus money - because I am going to have them apply the Wags rebate to a gift card for the 10% bonus
= rebates of $65.50

so $45.07 - $65.50 = Profit of $20.43 after all rebates :D

Thanks Jennifer S for the info on the $2 Natural Dentist coupon :D

Target - Valentine Clearance 70-90% off - YYMV

Each store seems to be deciding when to go 70% and when to go 90%.  I went to two today and first was still at 70%, second was at 90%.  Here are some of the hidden finds I scored.

Be sure to check the regular aisles to find these hidden treasures :D
Nordicware baking supplies - scan anything with pink on overwrap
Look in stationary for any wrapping paper that is red and scan, these don't look valentine at all but rang .29 (in back standing up next to baking sheet)
A Golden book called Butterfly Kisses
My Little Pony in regular toy aisle(these were 70% at the store I got them)
Toddler boy shorts and mens boxers and sleeping pants $.89 - $1.69
Toddler girls clothes and little girl socks and tights $.40 - $1.40
The hello kitty tutu and skirt were on a rack with 2 other varieties that rang full price, but these were 90% off :D

Thanks SD and my Target buds for some of these finds.

I had scheduled this post and had the instructions several months ago so I would not forget to notify my readers. Well it seems Coupons.com changed a bit since then so here are the revised instructions on how to cancel your membership if you so choose.

If you were reading me a year ago you might have signed up for the free coupons.com 1 year membership.  Well, that was on March 8, 2012 and that date is soon approaching.  If you have decided it is NOT worth $3 a month to let it automatically charge your credit card, NOW might be time to cancel your membership.  I would definitely not wait past February 23rd to cancel.  If you have a smart phone, set yourself an alarm to cancel before that March 8th date gets here.

So how do you do that?  Here are the steps
Log in at coupons.com to your Savings Club account

Click the Pull down next to your name on the right hand side and select Your Profile

Click the contact support link (hidden under your address information
Fill out the contact form to submit your cancellation request.

You will need to fill in your full name and email associated with your membership.
Listed under the pull down for "problem" you should see "I want to cancel my Savings Club account"
If you have your account number, you can enter that too (should be in the welcome email you got when you signed up).

Better than Free Wet n Wild - Walmart

I swung by Walmart today to price match my produce ads and picked up some Wet n Wild to help decrease my out of pocket.
These lipsticks and nail polishes are $0.93 each everyday so a small profit of .07 each after the $1 coupon from 2/10 Red Plum insert.  But hurry to use the coupons as they are extremely short dated (2/23).

Thanks for the reminder Maya :D

SavingStar - Two New deals - Pretty Good

SavingStar has added a couple new coupons you will want to load to your account.  Once loaded you can just earn without much thought or effort.

I load ALL coupons that become available because unlike other loadables, they do not come off at the register but instead get banked in an account.  This will not impact your check out experience and thus you can use manufacturer coupons at check out as you normally do :D

Subway FebruANY $5 Footlong Offers and a Giveaway

I had to go to a working dinner last night and I knew my husband was exhausted and did not want to even think about making dinner.  I suggested he take the girls to Subway on his way home from gymnastics lessons.  The girls were elated as they both LOVE Subway and while my little one doesn't eat the healthiest(Flatbread with american cheese toasted with parmesan cheese - basically a grill cheese sandwich, lol) , my eldest has a few things to teach others about healthy eating. (Flatbread with ham, cucumber, spinach and paremesan cheese).

What is GREAT about Subway this month is they are offering up MOST of their regular footlongs for just $5.  I personally love the Subway Club and that one is rarely $5!  You can go here to see all the $5 and $6 footlong offerings too.  Another thing I like about the footlongs is that it is two meals for me.  So if I go for lunch, I save the other half for dinner and no cooking :D
Yum!

Pretty awesome news right?  Well how about a $25 gift card to go with these low low prices?
Subway has offered me a chance to giveaway a $25 gift card to one lucky reader.  The rules are simple:
1 entry per person

Leave a comment on this blog post (not my facebook, not my email, you have to leave it on the actually blog post to qualify) telling me what Subway sandwich you love

If you don't have a google account, you are welcome to leave comments as anonymous, just make sure you leave some way to contact you or at least your name so I can announce you if you win

Entries will close February 22nd sometime in the evening when I choose a winner.  Winner will have 24 hours to contact me to claim their prize, else it will be forfeited and a new winner selected.

Good luck

Disclosure: Subway provided me a gift card to give away and one for myself for a review/giveaway post.  No other compensation was provided and all opinions, as always, are my own.

Potential Poise MM at CVS

I am sitting here playing goldfish with my girls and going to multiple printable coupon sites just to see what is new out there. When I went to the CVS link, I noticed a $3 Poise wellness product printable. Combine this with the $3 inserts from 2/10 Smart Source and you are bound to get a great deal(based on online pricing I am viewing).
If you can't find your insert, there is a $1 printable too that should at least make them free.

Working toward bringing my regular posts back like what am I printing and why etc.
Work has been super busy which is good since that pays the bills :D  but bad because I don't get to keep up with all the deals the way I used to.  Hoping to figure out a happy medium ground.

Walgreens - Two Money Makers

I was sitting with my friend yesterday looking at the Walgreens ad and we came upon this deal you can do if you have not yet done your Pfizer rebate from 1/27 Red Plum insert.  Basically it requires you to buy 3 participating products listed on the form.
Advil Congestion or Allergy &Congestion Relief are both participating products.  This week Walgreens has a promo for buy $10 in product get 2000 points(equivalent to $2). In addition we have $3 coupons for these products in the 2/10 Red Plum insert.
You "should" be able to get 4 and get 4000 points, but I did 3.  Either way should come out the same assuming the points work correctly

Here is what I did:
Buy 3 @ $5
Use 3 $3 coupons
Pay $6 at register and earn 2000 points
Then mail off for a $6 rebate for purchasing 3 for a profit of $2 less the cost of your stamp :D

Another deal I was able to score while there is on the Mitchum deodorant.  They are on sale 2/$6 and earn $4 register reward on 2.  Use the $1 coupon from 2/10 Smart Source insert and get them free.
However, if you are lucky (I was :D) you can find some on clearance for $1.99 each.  My offer played out like this:
2 @ $1.99
Use 2 $1 coupon
Pay $1.98 oop and earn $4 register reward for $2 profit

Other deals you might want to consider while you are there:

Chloraseptic Warming Spray (6 oz) Honey Lemon $3.99
Use $1 coupon from 11-11 or 1-6 Smart Source insert or Ip here
Pay $2.99 get $3 Register reward
*There is a $2 coupon inside the February coupon booklet but it is not working properly. You might be able to convince your store making it a profit

got2B products $3.99
Use $2 coupon from 2/10 Red Plum insert
$1.99 each
*I noticed some on clearance for $2.99 making them just $.99

Glade Expression starter kits $2.84 sale price
Purchase 3 and get 2,000 points
Use $2 coupon from here or here
$2.52 cost but earn 2k points so $0.52 for 3
*Dee Rod!

Lysol All purpose or bathroom  cleaner, Lysol toilet bowl cleaner or Lysol kitchen cleaner 2/$5
Buy $10 earn 2000 points
Use $2/2 Lysol coupon in the Walgreens Cold & Flu booklets (mine are out in my car otherwise I would post a picture)
Buy 4 products $10
Use 2 $2/2 coupons
$6 earn 2K points so $1 each after promo

Purex Baby Laundry - review and Giveaway

Purex has a new line of product out new for babies.  While I don't have any babies in my house, I often like getting the baby version of laundry detergent, sunscreens, and body washes.  Why? The lack of dyes and harsh chemicals.
Purex baby offers the same cleaning power as their regular line but with less harsh chemicals.

Purex baby is also specially designed to ensure proper performance for all washers, from high-efficiency to traditional top-loader washing machines.
The dermatologist tested formula also guarantees to remove stubborn stanks without hurting delicate clothes.

I love that Purex is affordable and now has a line with a lot less fragrance added.  My hubs is not a fan of perfumy laundry products and I have to admit some really bug my allergies.  I had no issues with the slight fragrance in the Purex baby I was offered to review.  While I didn't have any huge stains to tackle, our clothes came out clean and no skin sensitivity occured from using it :D

Currently only available in a 50 oz size but they are working toward the 100 oz. for those that prefer the larger bottles.  You can go here to read more about Purex baby

Now for the fun part:  How would you like to enjoy 3 free bottles of Purex baby (up to $5 each)?
Purex has offered me 3 coupons to give away to one lucky reader.

To enter just post a comment on this blog post (emails and facebook comments do not count, you must post here)
Limit one entry per person.  In your comment tell me what you look for in your laundry detergent.
I will select a winner on Feb. 14th from all eligible comments.  You can enter as anon ONLY if you leave a name or way for me to contact you.  If there is no name, it is hard to offer a prize to anon, lol.
Winner will have 24 hours to contact me with name and address so I can mail your prize :D
Good luck

Disclosure: Purex provided me with a sample of Purex baby detergent in exchange for a product review.  As always, opinions are my own.
